Damn Liverpool! I was so hopeful for them that I made a 1-1 prediction even though it was against all odds. Now they have 20 minutes to equalize, but I don't believe it. It seems that Liverpool have enough strength for the first 20-45 minutes and then this team falls apart if the opponent is strong.
As for the chances for the top 4, they are, as the club has a very easy end to the season, but now they will suffer 3 games in a row.

I too gave Liverpool more hopes



Now I'm rooting for LFC to score another one, and I will get a CLOSE result. But whatever happens, I will never get EXACT this time. Damn, Man. City, you are so good!

Belated well done wished to direwolf. Pretty darned impressive, however you look at it. I'm absolutely out of places here so just playing for yellow caps... Everton kicks off what looks to be a miserable outing for me. You don't really see it on form and paper, but United aren't as good as they should be, Toffees better than they are, yet first half is all United and they take a deserved lead. Oh well =)

I'm glad that my thoughts have been useful to someone (but not to me  ). With the analysis of Chelsea - Liverpool, I was completely wrong as a draw was the most obvious result for several reasons (statistics + it was the worst outcome for both teams).

Lampard might also have a few problem with picking a starting xi, but I'm very sure he'd have been keeping close tabs with Chelsea even while away. For the next 3-4 for games, it's going to be Chelsea ML for me, even against Real Madrid!

I have seen an interesting piece of info on twitter. Supposedly Lampard said something on the line "Third time is a charm" when taking the job. Now you can interpret that as he means to do business now, since he was a player there and already a coach once. But of course twitter immediately took it in another direction and concluded he will be ex quickly and then he will do wonders next time he comes to Chelsea

First order of business in Chelsea must be getting rid of couple of players. Their roster is just too big, better to sell some while they are still worth something.

I've only had 33 minutes of Lampard ball and I'm already missing Potterball, I knew we were in trouble when he benched Chilwell and went with his terrible 442 formation with Gallagher in the middle; no serious coach will play Gallagher and Sterling right now. We've never been this bad all season. Potter is mile  ahead of Lampard in every way.

Why is Havertz starting every game, he's been awful all season and can't shot to save his life.

Chelsea is making Wolves looks like prime Bacelona. TV off. #LampardOut. End this season already and end my mysteries.

I would say we would never find out right ? because it didn't happen, but if Lampard bought or loaned  in those guys, then he must have had his reasons, maybe it wasn't working out at first but then it was just a matter of time, because the style Tuchel deployed was very similar to that of Frank Lampard, I agree that Tuchel inspiration and experience could also have had its effect on the players and hence the result. However, the players didn't just become superb overnight right, so it shows that Lampard probably knew what he was doing but just needed more time to get there.

Some players became extra superb under Tuchel, and Rudiger is a prime example; he was the club's worst defender under Lampard, was abused by the fans every game, and was on the verge of being kicked out in the summer until Tuchel came along and turned his career around; the rest is history.

Not to mention Lampard's first season, when the players were still playing Sarriball and the spirit was still there for a while.

Lmao! It's barely even 48 hours and you all need to take a chill pill, this could rather just be an experimental tactics, I'd agree that Chelsea are playing very awfully this afternoon, but Lampard Out is just way too early in my candid opinion.

There is nothing left to savage off the season for Chelsea imo opinion, perhaps the UCL but then that's still a long reach, so I would rather give Lampard way more games to redeem himself.

In this match, Southampton vs Manchester City has taken place quite dramatically, where both teams have provided pretty good attacks.
But Man City has the advantage and better opportunities to score goals, it's just that all the opportunities haven't been able to produce goals.
After the last minutes of the first half Haaland had 3 chances to score and sure enough at the last chance Haaland managed to score and for the first half while Man City was 1 - 0 up.
Haaland in this match has a pretty good dominant attack.
I hope that when the second half starts, Man City can add to the score and end with a win.

I thought to be the smartest guy this time as I got 4 correct scores but I saw other people had been in the same level during the games of today,nevertheless I see myself just 7 points behind the 4th place where there is a substantial prize if I happen to be there.My objective for this year has been to be in the prize spots and I believe I will make it to at least the last prize spot in the 9 weeks that remain for this Premier League.

On the other hand, all I see is a set of confused and delusional fans who actually don't know what they want, they'll be fine, at the end of the day... This is not experimental tactics; this is the same Lampard tactics that got him fired the last time. As I mentioned in this thread, Lampard's team does not play good football; he always wants his players to play at a high level of pressing, which is why he likes players who run like headless chickens (Mount and Gallagher) on his team; he is not a possession-based manager; this is not football; this is haram. If Todd knows what's good, he shouldn't let him step foot on the training ground on Monday; no disrespect to club legend, but he hasn't improved at all; give him more time with this club, and we'd be fighting relegation. A big team must lose, but lose valiantly.

I once believed we could defeat Madrid, but those dreams are long gone. poor me.

Chelsea are just clowns. But as a Real Madrid fan, I fear that the biggest joke from Chelsea this season is that they will knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League (I would really hate that). Maybe I'm just making it up, but if Chelsea are ingloriously knocked out of the Champions League, what kind of season will it be for them? Can it really be that bad  

I think that the 30th round will also be "fruitful" - a lot of games with obvious favorites, just a few games are random.
The main thing I fear is that Liverpool will ruin things for Arsenal, although Liverpool have already lost everything they could. They can repeat the "feat" of Chelsea that ruined the last chance for Liverpool on April 4th.

So far, my premonition justifies itself - so many exact scores have been guessed!  
I hope I'm wrong about Liverpool.

If that was the case then it makes no sense the change of coach at this time.If it were only for summer they could have waited with Potter as Lampard showed a really bad Chelsea in the game of today and Wolves won easily against them so nothing has really changed fundamentally for them.Based on the results of Chelsea the coach accepting the job after Lampard should have a lot of balls to accept the offer as he sees what is going on with the team and changing these kind of results takes a lot of time and effort from the part of the coach.I think even next season they will still have problems.

Even if the champions league is the biggest and most difficult title to win, if we were to somehow defeat Real Madrid and go on to win it, it wouldn't be considered a successful season in my eyes. Winning through skill and teamwork is different from winning through luck.

You're right, Chelsea's management should start thinking about the next season by bringing in some new faces and getting rid of some players as well. I'm not sure what's going on in the minds of the club's management regarding Lampard, whether they'll extend his contract or consider another name capable of improving the club from worst to best.

By the way, this round was good for me, as I was able to predict two correct results. However, despite getting 11 points, I lost two places, waiting for the results of tomorrow.

First welcome match for Lampard is a defeat and this sends a psychological defeat to these guys and this shows the problem isnt really the manager but something among the players...At this point any player showing signs of being bigger than the club should go, something we saw with Cr7 the ex United player.
And looking at the upcoming fixtures i fear not less than 3 defeats will be registered here.
