Liverpool was the perfect club for Bellingham's legacy to develop - especially under Klopp.
That's why I was so pissed that we missed on the CL spots this season. With CL secured we might have stood a chance whereas without it it was clear from the start that we simply aren't in the race at all.

It's incredibly hard for a club like Liverpool to bring a player in his prime from Madrid, so that ship has sailed forever.

He looks like he could become one of the greats. I was disappointed at the time but would we have been able to sign Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Gravenberch if we got Jude? I dunno if 3 really good players > 1 world class player? I think the wages were a factor too. Maybe i’ve been brainwashed by FSG and using copium but I think we are a better team with the three we got than if we only got Bellingham. Imagine Henderson and Fabinho were still here but we got Bellingham.

Aside from banter and club rivalry, Liverpool got a better deal in Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, and Gravenberch. If Mac Allister played in the same position as Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid, he could easily replicate his performance. Bellingham has always been that unique child, but we all know what happens when the hype starts to get into his head. Most of the time, he does nothing except score one goal and becomes the news of the day. Real Madrid's PR are outrageous, and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the Ballon d'Or before Mbappe and Halaand.

Man Arsenal really suffered. They did make changes to half the squad but you still have hattrick scorer Nketiah and even Saka came on but still couldn't even draw to West Ham, pretty big win there.

Next round reward for Moyes is Liverpool, I have a feeling they can win also judging from the lineup where Nunez had to save the game after entering late.

I really love Szoboszlai, he can be an amazing addition as well, but Bellingham is a generational type of player - one of a kind. A superstar that's English, something you build dynasties on.
I'm happy with our midfield additions as well, but Bellingham really does sound like a huge opportunity missed. And not just for Liverpool - for all english clubs. Due to the fact that England is mostly hated on Merseyside - even more so for other PL clubs.

^ I really like Szobo too, exceeded my expectations, and MacAllister is slowly winning me over but as you say Bellingham is generational. Real practically solved their midfield for a decade minimum. He would have been our Gerrard, minus Scouse.

I had a draw and that killed me. Late goal by Man Utd,today was a terrible day for me,hopefully i try and make it up with the few matches that are left in this round. Probobly my worst round since the start of the premier league. Hopefully Newcastle ends 1-1 to get points there somehow.

Now Newcastle is winning against Arsenal which will make Tottenham to further create a gap tomorrow if they win their game,it would be nice but I think overall Manchester City and Liverpool to be more consistent in their results for the title fight.

Gravenberch is a rotation option - I do like him but it's still early to tell. He was great at Ajax and fully neglected at Bayern.

I am also facing same issue in this season as losing my points frequently with today I check I am from 15 to 46 it's unbelievable for me how things are going.
After today matches I have only 3 points which is another below with late equalizers kills all things hopefully in next few weeks I will be able to improve things but now after Arsenal lost look like we will have three-way title race now Sunday can bring some good results as we have two good teams on road Aston Villa and Liverpool can give double pleasure.

I honestly am, Modrić is one of my favorite players of all time but he's entering the end of his career. He simply isn't there physically anymore - which is normal and the fact that he's still getting games aged 38 in one of the world's biggest clubs tells you everything.
If I was picking a team for the cup final, yeah - I'd still probably take Modrić over Szoboszlai. But if I was picking a player for a stretch of 20 league games, there's no doubt in my mind as to who I'd select.

Regarding Bellingham - the guy's 20 years old. He's already got almost 200 professional games under his belt. He was a starter in Championship aged 17, a starter and one of the best players in the Bundesliga for Borussia aged 19.
He's already got 25+ caps for one of the strongest footballing nations in the world.

To add to that, he's probably had the best start of all Real Madrid's signings throughout their history - and we all know who's among those names.

If he's not a superstar, I seriously don't know who is.

I'll always prefer technique over stamina. If I'm going to battle, I'd rather have 11 Modric than 11 Szoboszlai. We all know Modric has a limited amount of time to accommodate Bellingham on the team because his Real Madrid career is coming to an end and Bellingham's has just begun.

Without a doubt, Bellingham is a superstar, but he has be consistent for 5-10 years to be identified as World-class.  Bojan Krkic had 117 Barcelona appearances before the age of 21, scoring 17 goals; he was the next big thing, but his Bacelona career ended before the age of 24 and he spent the rest of his career on loan; he was a superstar but didn't live up to his potential. Ansu Fati, the future Messi, is another.

I'd bet on the same, I don't believe his goalscoring feat will continue. It does not need to though - he wasn't brought there to score goals.
That's the extra reason why I feel what he's done is incredible so far - but again, I would not bet on him scoring another 5 goals by the end of the season.

Lol You got me there That would have been the most easy side bet of the season. I've seen Pogba in his prime score 8 goals in 8 games and complete the season with 8 goals. When they sign a proper striker in January, Bellingham will most likely return to central midfield. Osimhem is the main target.

Lucky to get a late equaliser in the end but it’s not good enough. We must be much better against Brentford next weekend. What frustrates me most is the lack of fight. We have better players than Luton in every position but if you don’t put in 100% you can run into problems and today we did.

What a bad result for Liverpool,not winning against a team like Luton town which together with Sheffield United are the worse teams of the Premier League and that late equalizer is of no good to Liverpool,Liverpool in here lost 2 points in a great moment where these 2 points would mean a lot for them after Arsenal lost to Newcastle yesterday night.

I think it was the biggest surprise of the week and it looks like it will be easy for Tottenham to win tomorrow and extend their lead in the top of the standings.

No they didn't. Miserable outing for me last week. Doubt I'll be putting any more money down tonight, just wait it out and start fresh. Liverppol obviously the most bumming moment, but we always do seem to drop points against teams that set out to frustrate. Tahith Chong being ex United hurt more.

I call them spoiler teams. Can't really help themselves against fellow relegation candidates (Everton doesn't count) but take points off challengers for the title sans City.

The match has become really very interesting after Tottenham started to play with 9 players. Chelsea really have finishing problems this season and it has come to light even more by this match. They will win this match again most probably. However the team absolutely need to learn to score goals. If Nkunku didn't get injured I'm sure that Chelsea would have been in top 4. I can't believe how Jackson can be the centre-forward of the team which has spent this much money for transfers.
