Let's see if a small bump to put this thread back to the top will get the attention of those who haven't made their picks (:   (Today I'm expecting a draw in the first game, and a comfortable 0-3 win for the Citizens).

And hopefully, no one will forget to make the Majestic 7 picks, for instance, @toke is usually pretty stoked (hehe!) whenever a new Matchweek starts since it means Majestic7 time lol

I'm sure that's what everybody said when they won the league. It's unlikely anyone will catch Liverpool but I wouldn't say it's in the bag and Liverpool shouldn't think like it is either as that's how slip-ups happen. They were very lucky in their last two games and could have dropped points to two pretty poor teams. Injuries can happen as well. Let's see how Liverpool would do without van Dijk or one of their strikers. Leicester are also playing both City and Liverpool back to back this month. If they can win both those games or even get a couple of points things might be looking a lot different. No Champions League games for them to worry about either.

I agree with your thoughts. 11 points lead in start of December don't guarantee EPL trophy. December will be crazy month in EPL and it can be decisive in title race. In February serious games in Champions league will begin and teams won't be able to focus just on EPL. Liverpool had few very difficult wins against weak teams, it shows that they aren't unbeatable. 2 loses and City is back on track. On the other hand, City don't have right to make mistakes anymore.
And yeah, few years ago everyone said same things about Leicester as @LFC_Bitcoin said now. But now their situation is different. Back then they were leading all season long, now they are in chasing position. But I would love to see them ending season in Top 4.

Didn't Liverpool throw away a similar lead last season? Don't think it was by as much as they have now but anything is possible. The December/early Jan games sure will be interesting. Manchester derby this week, Leicester playing both City and Liverpool back to back. City vs Sheff United could be interesting given the latter's form right now and then they play Liverpool the round next on 2nd Jan. Lots of points to be won and lost so there could be a shake up. The table is quite close outside the top three. Man United are 9th with 18 points but they're only potentially six points from a relegation place and I'd really love to see them struggling with that haha.

Glad to see all you guys believe in Liverpool. I do think this is their season too, I think I came out and said it a few games back. Many false dawns and a lot of hurt but something really felt different all that time ago, even when we only led by maybe 5 points or something. But it would be lovely to see Leicester cement second. Delicious pleasure in seeing the expensive teams flounder.

@webtricks: I should really pay attention to the Superbru emails. I might even get called the Hulk or something.

I'm betting against City the entire month by the way. Newcastle almost gave me joy but what a drop in odds! Last season gave me 25/1, and only 13/1. And today BURNLEY was shy of 12/1... I almost don't feel like betting when bookies clearly underestimating Citeh.

Considering that they're playing against top 10 sides throughout the whole month (and if their recent form is anything to go by), it's very likely that they'll lose at least one game and that will net you decent profits, but they won't be as big as the one Wolves gave you back in October when they beat City, bookies are being cautious now lol

Forget Zaha, the goal from Jeffrey as an abosolute beauty. And that won me the bet of over 0.5 goals and also 1.5 point in the pool. I was almost counting zero point in the pool from this match.

Well the defense from Palance was solid and players played it smart. They were ensuring not to donceding any goal and when get chance to attack then go for it. And it worked eventually.
