Pretty shit line up of games this weekend:
29/02/2020 15:00 A.F.C. Bournemouth v Chelsea
29/02/2020 15:00 Brighton v Crystal Palace
29/02/2020 15:00 Everton v Manchester United
29/02/2020 15:00 Newcastle United v Burnley
29/02/2020 15:00 Norwich City v Leicester City
29/02/2020 15:00 Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton
29/02/2020 15:00 Watford v Liverpool
29/02/2020 15:00 West Ham United v Southampton
Can't say I'm interested in any of them. Would have been Manchester City v Arsenal but that's cancelled because of the EFL final with City v Villa. Will watch the Liverpool game though just to see if they can keep up their winning streak. I don't think that game will be easy for them. Watford can be tricky and are fighting relegation but they haven't got any good results recently. No wins in six.
@hilarious yeah no I totally get that of course. I know how sickening it must be for a nonpool fan, so I try NOT to (try being the operative) keep bringing it up. Like you said though, they've got a chance at the treble, so they should go all out. They've got enough cover now at this stage of the season to at least risk Shaqiri and Minamino for cups from the start, with the main men on the bench. Vanity records like those win streaks are just that -- vanity records.
But cold hard metal in the cabinet, that treble will look very special along with the other two trophies we already captured.
Meanwhile, I already took a bet on Liverpool winning the FA Cup at 5/1;)
Winning the league is already momentous for them, but anything additional will just make it a legendary season that other people will never forget even non-fans. Unbeaten, points record breaking, and hopefully at least one other cup. Winning the CL again and back to back would be huge. The Madrid game is going to be intense next month but they should be able to get the job done at home.
