Well, congrats, it’s a big solid win for the start od the season

Frank Lampard has always been the bookies favourite for the first manager to be sacked and it wouldn't surprise me if he was. I know it's only the first game and against United but that job is too big for him and far too soon. He should have stuck it out with Derby for another season or so and try to get them promoted. Then try move up. I really wasn't expecting Man U to turn them over like that so went with a draw.  Still finished in first place but only by 0.5 point lead  .

Slow start to the season for me in the pool, 11th out of 26  but remember it’s a marathon & not a sprint

Absolutely, I did really bad start this first week like what I did on the last year pool but I ended up on the 2nd position under you buddy. Still so many matches to collect points, still long way to go, still many possibilities may happen till the end of the league. The first week was like a blind prediction for me especially on the mediocre teams that I do not really know well. Wish the best luck for all of us, let make this pool as fun as last year.

I was looking for it earlier but couldn’t be bothered to scroll through multiple pages. I was one of the worst players in the whole pool, I hope to be much improved this weekend. My score was embarrassing in round 1.

Lawro sucks yeah, you’re much better off to just go with what your gut instinct tells you. I struggle with the lesser known teams, that’s where most of the points are. 2-1 either way always seems a good idea but they draw a lot also.

Probability is one of the best gift offered to us by mathematicians. I bet on Football regularly and using various probability methods increase my chances by 30-40%. Last week, I signed up for pool at the last minute and chose my picks randomly. But this week I am prepared and used best of my analytics. Let's see how it turns, I hope my ranking improves significantly this week.

Does it really works? It's hard to predict correct score. In my case if I give much time then I get frustrated and end up doing worse. So when I make my picks I literally do not do much extra research. Just see their previous few head to head result and pick a score. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
