LOL i'm 99% sure this is my first yellow cap   and I still couldn't make it to top 5 (i've been climbing nonstop in the leaderboard for the past few weeks, think I was in 13 or 14 before I began my epic ascent lol)...So close though, just 3.5 pts behind 5h place @Mattle40, I kinda knew that all those games i missed throughout the season were going to come back to bite me on the butt Did anyone else also miss some games?

Congrats to LFC, nothing better than increasing your btc stash right in the middle of a bull run

Thanks for the kind words regarding winning the pool. I cane 3rd last season & then 2nd in the World Cup one so feels good to win this one
It’s been such a competitive pool, special mention to panjul & oeleo who fucking pushed me all the way. I’m sure everybody will be hack stronger next season when we do it again.

Congrats buddy, you deserve the first place obviously as you were so consistent in making good predictions. Lucky me I can be the 2nd at the end of the tournament although I made many wrong prediction in the last two weeks but seems that oeleo also did the same thing Congrats to the other winners as well.
Surely we should have it again in the next season as it is very good competition. Special thanks to hilarious for managing this competition, hopefully he will do it again next season.

Well done all of you guys! I spent a few weeks at the top I remember, but then after taking risks that didn't pay off too many weeks in a row, I couldn't even climb back up into the Top 5!

But this was a really great group of people, I enjoyed it a lot and it's definitely cost effective and something I hope to do again next season. To be honest, I am a La Liga follower but this season may have converted me to like English football a little.

It was an amazing year although this year I didn't make it into the top five I still enjoyed every week the strange emotions that premier league gives. Congrats to the winners and can't wait for a new season to start, maybe in beginning of August when payment will be collected I will be in vacation, I will pay as soon as I come back from my second honey moon, again in the best place in Europe for me, Vienna.

According to coinmarketcap bitcoin is currently 8,153.54 USD. Holly shit what a nice pump we had recently
30$ comes out as 0.00368. I have rounded it up to 0.004BTC Enjoy and hopefully buy a few pints in some pub with that money.

What amount are you talking about? Amount for entry in the pool?

We clearly stated that our bet is in dollar amount and it was made half way trough the season so it would be different anyway.

I believe I asked if we should make it in fixed btc amount but other party responded that it is better to keep it in dollars. I am not sure if that was discussed for this exact bet or for some other bet but anyway I always thought this is in dollars, and wording says so as well.

Care to comment tokeweed? If you interpreted our bet differently and feel that I have wronged you I will consider paying up that different amount but than please state what was that amount and how you came to it.

We didn't have any formal agreement.  We just agreed to pay 30 bucks on who wins the league like a month before the last match.  But hah!  Good call, next time we should have that rule or put the BTC in escrow in advance.

I agree that it is nicer to bet in BTC (especially when BTC is going up) and we should do it like that next time. But this time we agreed everything in $ and I always considered our bet as fixed in dollars. I hope you are not feeling wronged. I like to pay my debts/lost bets in a best possible way so that the winner feels happy. That way I get a chance for rematch

I feel wronged. I didn't realize that you would touch the money and thus they would sit and wait until a winner was decided and the winner would get the funds, you just earned yourself more than the winner did just by holding on to it?

^  Fantasy is a lot of work.  I tried doing the free one with hilarious.  I played with it like a couple of times then nothing.  Lol.  Tho I could do the work if there's some BTC involved.  Lawl.  But yeah, I'll still join if we get enough players.

Regarding Fantasy, I don't think we will have a "working" pool in the near future. Senior Fantasy players (counting myself as one also) already have account linked with their real name. Most of them probably wouldn't like linking that account with bitcointalk (I would do it, but a bit reluctantly). Fantasy is definitely much more work so new players will be harder to find.
