There is one month until the start of EPL season, so I'm sure that we will get some more players. Personally, I'm not expecting to reach top 5 because I'm not following EPL very closely. So, it's just for fun. @hilariousandco, it's sad thay you don't organize prediction pools of La Liga or Champions league

Well, lets just say I hope I do a little better than the world cup. I sort of gave up in the end, and went for some outlandish scores. Yeah, that didn't work either. Champions league could be a interesting one, but I'm not sure how popular the La Liga one would be compared to this pool.

Yeah, I understand that La Liga wouldn't be popular, especially when Ronaldo left Real Madrid. But I think that Champions league prediction pool would be really interesting and may attract enough players.

Anyway the England Premier is near us and for sure it will be with a lot of emotions throughout the entire time of the tournament, with many changes of position like last year. And the beauty of this year will be that there will also be a winner for the best top scorer within one week from all the weeks. I am the holder of that title for last season so I hope I can repeat it

^  Lol.  But actually only two clubs have defended their being league champions in the Premier League era.  Man United, under SAF, and Chelsea under Mou.  City would be the third if Pep does it...  So basing it historically, it's not looking that good for City imo.

I don't know, after watching City's performance last season, I honestly feel like this can be the beginning of a new era: the Man City era. I just don't know how other teams can keep up with Pep's team next season. Last season, were the rest of the big teams just shite or was Man City simply too good?...I'll go with the latter, and I think Guardiola will repeat the same feat he accomplished with Barcelona and Bayern: winning the domestic league back-to-back.

Pot of £625 is quite interesting because the season ends in May 2019. The bitcoin proce is likely to go up (I think a lot) by then so the GBP value of bitcoin will likely be a lot more. Quite possibly over double.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the same happened last season, as in we paid the bitcoin vslue of £25 to enter & the price went up a lot by the time it was pay out for the lucky winners.

You can't really compare what he's accomplished domestically in Germany and in Spain.  The EPL, and especially lately, has been way tougher.  We got 7 or 8 good managers (three or 4 among them great), the clubs are spending (LFC too.  Wah.  Lmao) and the schedule of fixtures is one of the most hectic compared to the other top leagues.

Sure City could win it again, but it's not gonna be as easy as last season imho.  This season could be close.

I think Liverpool could win the title within the next few seasons, but not sure if they're there yet. They're still worth a bet, but I think teams like City will just be too tough to beat. I'd much rather see Liverpool and Spurs win something rather than the usual suspects.

The previous round I think the value was around $3500 when it started so it doubled by the payouts at the end of the season, but remember it went to the all time high of $20k during it. Hopefully we'll see a similar thing this season so it boosts the prizes but nothing is guaranteed and we could in fact see the opposite. Bitcoin could just as easily fall and the prizes with it. Who knows what will happen.

It is already starting to look like last round hopefully, it was 6xxx USD before 2 days, now it is 8xxx the price of Bitcoin. Hopefully it can only keep going up and as LFC_Bitcoin said I too believe toward end of May 2019 bitcoin price should be at least 20000-25000 USD.

Hey hilarious...  Maybe instead of doing 25 GBP pool and a 100 GBP one, why not start a CL betting pool for the same (25) price instead?  I'm pretty sure most, if not, all the players here would play the CL pool too.

I'll probably just stick to the £25 one for this season for the Premier League. Too late and too much hassle to get everyone to agree to £50 and don't want any users to drop out. Maybe I'll double it to £50 for next. We'll see. We can do a Champions League one as well for another £25 though. Would have done one last season for it but left it a bit too late and didn't really want to do it with only a few players. Once the Premier League starts I'll open up a thread about the Champions League pool. Will give us over a month to recruit people then.

Count me in as the first player for the Champions too. Pretty convinced many people will join as much more people watch Champions league that they watch Premier League. Even casual gamblers or non gamblers watch it, so I am sure we will have many people join this competition.

the champions league pool should be epic , to be honest I don't even watch EPL but I do follow CL so joined here just for fun
if it's easy to manage two pools at the same time then yeah another pool for the champions should be amazing

if it's easy to manage two pools at the same time then yeah another pool for the champions should be amazing

Without a doubt I will join for the CL pool as well, as it is a bigger event than EPL so I think it would be nice to have bigger prizepool. Obviously it requires bigger entry fee, lets say £50. Probably we need to make vote between £25 or £50 for the CL pool. But if £50 is too much for most participants then £25 is OK.
