Wolves vs Watford is actually a decent match.  Both are close in points and fighting for that top-ish midtable slot.  But yeah, the rest are meh.

Doesn't sound as good as when some big names are playing

That being said I expect a watchable encounter with quite a few goals. I like Wolves this season very much. Maybe because I have 3 players in my Fantasy team.

Nope, of course not.  But decent enough to make stick in from of the screen with some popcorn and beer.  And it's after the early kick off...  No complaints.

It's great EPL is back in action this upcoming weekend, words just cannot express how boring these national team games are and they don't show a decent football at all. I have seen a few games these last days and I confirm, boring to death games to watch on TV. Glad we are going back to see some real beautiful club football this weekend.

I don't usually do mine till the end of the week and usually on Friday, but looks like some tricky games to predict this week. A lot of boring fixtures for me. I mean, does anyone really care about Newcastle United - Brighton & Hove Albion, Bournemouth - Southampton and  Cardiff City - Fulham? They'll probably all cancel each other out. I joked in the other Premier League thread about a shock win for United but wouldn't surprise me if it happened haha. I've got a feeling some team will underestimate United at some point and pay the price for it.

I care. I normally wouldn't even pay attention to those games, but ever since I've joined this Pool I've been keeping an eye out for those games that I usually wouldn't care to watch,  now I might even sit and watch those "boring" games because I want to know if I predicted the correct scores

Well one thing I like about the pool is that you get a lot of value for your money - an entire season of gambling for a very small fee and every game certainly matters when you've got money on the line. You can watch the results come in with interest, but I still don't really care about those games and certainly won't be making any attempt to watch them. I think they'll all be pretty boring games but sometimes you get surprises.

Chelsea vs United in 30 or so minutes...  I think I'm the only guy who picked 3 - 0 at Super Bru?  

And I'd be very surprised if Mou starts or even maybe plays Bailley again for the rest of the season, unless he had no choice.  But I guess Mou was wise (and desperate) to make that change after just 18 minutes vs NUFC.  It showed who the boss was.

Edit:  Ok so I'm not getting full points for this one.  I want United to win this one now please.

I’ve had a crap day for my predictions. I’ve somehow stayed in 2nd place but I did really badly. I got 3.5 points today, that’s pretty embarrassing. Must do better.

So did I but seems most people did quite poorly. A lot of unexpected results. I didn't expect there to be many goals in the Cardiff game and went with 1-1 and Cardiff ended up getting their first win in the league with a 4-2 victory. I got screwed out of a perfect score on the City game with the late goal from Mahrez to make it 5-0 (as did three other players). Bournemouth screwed me out of my weekly three-fold accumulator win with a 0-0 draw. Not gonna bother watching any of the games today.

Was a good time to bet on one of those teams to get their first wins, and was it Fulham who recently had their first with a 4-0 win? Newcastle are finally getting their attacking mindset, found the nerve to go at throats but they're terribly unlucky to lose their last two games after all that. Would probably bank on their first win very soon... If football works like that.

Poor weekend for the whole league, shame I couldn't improve, so still in 27th with 6 points. 2 games left so yellow cap winner probably going to be lowest weekly total so far. Only 9th week though!

@hilarious - Nothing worth watching, Everton vs Palace will be a bore fest. I’m looking forward to the midweek CL action though. I’ve got tickets for LFC vs Red Star & also the LFC vs Cardiff game next weekend.

@buwaytress - Did you watch our game yesterday? It was awful wasn’t it. You have a point about low quality after the international breaks. I was shouting at the TV in the last 10 mins, it was infuriating.

Betting on Everton on an ambitious parlay. Last night choked up on all my legs, teams just aren't as sharp after the break, goals notwithstanding.

I put my free £5 bet on a five fold including Everton. They should win but I think it'll only be by a goal or two. Will then need Fiorentina, Borussia Monchengladbach,  Inter and Arsenal all to win as well though for £95. Don't normally put more than 3-folds on but I get a little bit riskier or experimental with my free bets.

I’m looking forward to the midweek CL action though. I’ve got tickets for LFC vs Red Star & also the LFC vs Cardiff game next weekend.

Yeah, well I'd much rather watch the best of Europe than a load of mediocre English teams. Some big games as well like Manchester Utd v Juventus and Barcelona v Inter.

@LFC nah I didn't watch any games on the weekend, no TV or fast internet, but watched live updates. So you can imagine how doubly infuriating it was. Awesome tix you got, I'm just glad Mo got his goal so he can help thump Belgrade.

@hilarious I had a 4-leg almost similar to yours: Everton, Mochen, Fiorentina and Lazio though: over 8/1. It was going so well too, Fiorentina was the last game to conclude and that 1-1 killed it. Be a fool to back Leicester on the basis of Arsenal's form, but football is football

I went for Arsenal 3-0 Leicester. I did initially put 2-0 but changed to 3-0 last night. I locked it so I could see what you guys predicted. Kind of regretting locking it & I’ve got a feeling it might be 2-0 now.

I am quite sure Leicster will score at least one goal tonight, and possibly even more. I am still thinking about 3:1, 2:1, 2:2 scores. Should be good match and hopefully I'll get this one correct since this week was absolutely terrible

Yeah, very annoyed at the Fiorentina draw. They were one-nil up as well but only for ten minutes. All the others came in as well and would have just needed Arsenal tonight for a win.

Had Everton down as 1-0 on the predictor so annoyed at that late second goal.

They're both attacking teams and I think there'll be a few goals and Leicester can certainly get one. If I had to bet I'd go with over 2.5 goals but I'll be leaving this game alone other than the predictor.

@Trofo, welcome to the extremely small club of wooden spoon winners I know I'll always have bad weeks, especially since I came out of the blocks predicting a lot of upsets (bloody big 6 just know how to win and draw), but yeah the wooden spoon is a huge reminder of how to eat humble pie.

@tokeweed I actually probably still have a Betfair account lying around somewhere but I no longer have a valid way to fund it, plus if they suddenly ask me to verify it, I also no longer have a UK address...

I'm yet to hit a perfect score on Liverpool due to my stubbornness with sticking up for a 3-0 scoreline. Get on with it, you all! 1 hour to kick-off for 5 simultaneous games.

I had Liverpool 3-0 too, luckily I hit the correct score on the Southampton game. I don't know where I am in the standings but this week I have a few close games and this correct score.
