but not sure that Joao is going to have massive role in a win, if that happens

I was surprised to see Felix starting the game because I learnt that he picked up a knock in training or something of such, I'm of the opinion that Joao Felix will slot perfectly into Potter's plans and will be very vital in the coming games, but of course I might be wrong because premier league is completely different from what and the leagues he's been used to.

From the lineup, I think Chelsea's team still looks like the better team on paper, should get a win... I had 2-0 for Chelsea initially, before changing to 2-1 about an hour ago, but now I'm going to to revert back to my 2-0 prediction, Koulibaly and Thiago Silva pairing and Mitrovic absence is the final criteria for my decision.

Yeah guys, don't underestimate how bad this Chelsea side is at the moment. Still only half time and I just watched parts of the game with all the sports playing on the same time (Barca, Snooker Masters, Handball World Cup) but from what I have seen Fulham was much more dangerous. My prediction is 2:2 and I have both to score on my ticket so rooting for the Blues in the second half.

Giving a player that just came to the club a start just shows how bad things are at the moment. You can see from Felix movement and touches with the ball that he is class player, hopefully it will work both for him and and the club.

Honestly, I fancy brighton against Liverpool, and I fancy Fulham against Chelsea. I know it's easy to say that with Fulham up 1-0, but Chelsea, and Liverpool seem to be the teams to beat these days. Despite, them having somewhat decent records in the last few seasons, something has definitely gone wrong with both teams.

I think with Liverpool the problems are obvious to everyone, and should hopefully be rectified in the summer, but for Chelsea, honestly I personally don't know what's the issue there. They've got a decent team, but they're just under performing. Reminds me a lot of United in the last couple of seasons. Wondering if there's issues going on behind the scenes.

Chelsea scored early into the second half with Coulibaly and I think this goal gives them motivation to continue and fight for the victory.They know that they have got nothing to lose in the sense that if they lose this game they lose pretty much all the season and thus they are playing without thinking to much and this brought the early draw.I don't know how it will end but most likely it will end with a narrow victory for Chelsea I believe.

man !!! I can't believe my eyes. Felix played only 58 minutes and saw how shit the other players were, he was the best player on the field until Koulibaly decided to stone him a pass to fuck him off. We do not deserve Felix; he is far too talented to be playing with Mount and Havertz. From Hazard, Willian, and Costa frontline few years ago to Mount, Havertz, and Ziyech....chelsea fell off I can't wait to see us play against Burnley and Charlton in the Championship on Wednesday nights next season.

We are cursed + injuries

Seems a lot of the bigger teams are suffering from this mysterious curse. I'm hoping things get back to normal next season, as it's been awful from a viewing stand point, and the fact that it's just so unpredictable. I suppose, that makes it more entertaining for the rest of the league, but I like to see teams at their best. Rather than what we've been getting as of recent.

Like I said, I fancied Fulham, and I fancy Brighton to either get the draw or win over Liverpool.

What a huge mistake by him. He wanted to join a big club so badly and will probobly get sacked real soon. With Brighton he could have done big things but i guess he wanted that big step that Chelsea had and it was a huge bite for him. This season might be over for Chelsea.

Maybe indeed there is a curse on the club, because even the players they brought in to help make their situation have either turned out for the worse or sidelined with an injury.

Agree with this 100% and I just wrote something similar in FPL thread, this will be one though season for Chelsea.

More importantly I won a yellow cap   If I am not mistaken I believe this is my first yellow cap in Premier League pool ever and I am playing for a long time. I wasn't even bad in some of the seasons it is just that competition is so strong in this pool it is virtually impossible to get. At least for me.

So Fulham managed to repeat their historical achievement by getting 4 consecutive victories after so so many years without being able to do so.Chelsea was really in a bad day yesterday night,I thought when they equalized they were going to win the game but that new player that came here with all the hype,Joao Felix was the main responsible for Chelsea lost game yesterday as he got a red card which left Chelsea in a very difficult situation to deal with.Fulham took profit of such happenings and they won the game.Chelsea out of every European competition for the coming year most likely.

I fancy Fulham against Chelsea. I know it's easy to say that with Fulham up 1-0, but Chelsea, and Liverpool seem to be the teams to beat these days.

Form over fixture, tbh Fulham is just in superb form to give any team atm a good run for their money and unfortunately not even Chelsea had the firepower to stop the amazing Fulham.

Talking of poor performers, I think the smaller(weaker) teams have just gotten really good to the extent of making our big teams look average. As for the two named teams, I think it has to do with some internal issues that has affected the general performance and everyone is seeing through them by the poor performance on the pitch.

Despite, them having somewhat decent records in the last few seasons, something has definitely gone wrong with both teams.

Probably still nursing a hangover from the Christmas season...

I think players aren't feeling safe with their positions as the club is making too many transfers such that it can't guarantee ones playing position for the long term.. Or possibly it's players showcasing (boycotting) what's happening at the club and they better fix this before its to late.

I think that they are just in a strike without an easy win, and this will change sooner than later
Chelsea has solid team, but some players are not in their best at the moment, manager is changing a lot, injuries overwhelmed them, and you can't expect more, since league is pretty strong atm, Fulham is playing above expectations atm

Chelsea are having a United/Ole or United/Moyes moment. Guy just taking too big a step up. All respect for Potter, and I'd always rated him but a megateam from the capital was a bit too much of a move. Made the same mistakes (taking up all his former staff and surrounding himself with them) when he needed people acclimatised to the top end of league.

I've got Nunez on a lot for Brighton. He'll make good.

^  Wtf.  Lol...  But it wasn't really just a B squad.  It was a B+ squad.    And it's prolly the hectic schedule of fixtures during the cold of winter taking its toll on the team.  They went against Chelsea twice then Southampton all in a span of a week.  I wonder what the line was for Southampton.

But yeah, Guardiola had to cos City is going against United this weekend.  I wonder how the schedule is going to take its toll in this match.  United at 4.20 could be value.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: they're professional athletes in peak physical form getting paid hundreds of thousands to kick a ball around a pitch for 90 minutes so they should be able to play 2 or even 3 games a week. Footballers will already be training twice a week anyway so I would have thought all they'll be doing is missing a training session and playing a match instead which I'm sure they'd all much rather do. I know people who play 5-a-side nearly every day of the week and they're not getting paid to do it so I don't think it's a big ask when teams have 2 games a week or sometimes 3 over 10 days or whatever. Some squad rotation is fine but don't just treat it as a friendly that you don't really care about and just to give some benchwarmers a run about.

Yup.  So bad...  Lol.  And the funny thing is they paid a lot of money to get Felix on loan and see him get a red card in his debut.  

In hindsight the Chelsea brass might have been too harsh in deciding giving Tuchel the sack after like just a couple of losses.  Potter has what rn?  4 losses in the league?  And they've never looked worse.

Anyway, I'm looking at draw no bet for United at 2.95 vs. City.  Seems value and United has been looking good at home.  City on the other hand could be suffering from player fatigue and sometimes Guardiola can't be trusted with his player selection.  It's almost like he does it on the fly when some idea in his head pops up.  Lol.

Edit:  Have a feeling Hhampuz is taking United at 4.10 or something.

From what I've seen of Nunez, and that's not a lot this year. I actually quite like him, and reminds me of the earlier versions of Suarez, and Mane. Both were good players, worked hard for the team, but in the early seasons they couldn't hit a barn door from five meters away. I think he's just struggling to find that composure, but considering how young he is, and the fact the team itself isn't performing, he may be under a little more pressure than he will be once we've sorted out our problems.

I do like him, and won't be surprised when he does start scoring, and often.

Continue to build the team ofcos and achieve good results. He is currently coaching players with big names and big contracts but low football IQ, a lesser team in terms of player quality than the current Brighton team.

Are we always going to fire coaches when the players don't perform well? It's time to start firing underperforming players rather than the coach, and it's time to limit the power of the players. and let it be known that the team started declining under Tuchel, he complained about the squad quality as well, but we thought he was joking when he said few players are not qualified to play at this level.

Put Pep in this team and nothing changes; put Messi and Ronaldo in this current Chelsea team and they will struggle.

Yeah, I believe it was his debut where he tried to headbutt a player several times before actually getting sent off. Actually, it happens quite frequently in history where a player gets sent off on their debut. Not sure, why maybe the players are eager to impress, and as soon as they can't do what they want they get frustrated. Over excitement can also be a factor I suppose.

I remember being incredibly upset of him, and doubting him from then on wards because I didn't want someone in a Liverpool shirt demonstrating that type of attitude. I think he's largely controlled it since.
