Dyche is really a decent manager.  I prolly should've paid more attention before making these parlays as I honestly really didn't know he was coming to replace Lampard.  I just found out when the match started.  Lolol. 

Sean Dyche could just be the manager to bring back Everton to consistently finish midtable every season just as the genius Moyes did back in the day.

Anyway, another potentially good manager to look out for is Vincent Kompany who is doing well at Burnley rn.

To be fair, it was always going to be a hard call to pick Everton against a high-performing Arsenal. They did have a good game, second half anyway, but had they converted a goal first, Everton might have settled for a draw. Dyche's challenge will now be to ask his team to maintain or rotate. No way they play the same intensity from now on with not-so-full-of-stamina players in the team. Unless they want to burn out like Leeds or... cough, cough, Liverpool.

Whoa. That's actually pretty damned big news, not sure how I didn't hear about it earlier. Cue Pep rants. Like you said, though, last time they got in trouble, they paid a nice "wrist slap" fine, though, so I'm not holding my breath.

Remember, they were actually found guilty and banned. An appeal was successful, so who knows what other extras that appeal entailed? What was it that Mourinho said about the whole thing? You're either innocent or guilty, and City were guilty af.

You must come to terms with the fact that Klopp's time at Liverpool is done; it appears that he has already lost the dressing room, and if that is the case, no new players would be able to fix the issue if the old players are tired of his influence and want him gone. we sacked our club legendary coaches Mourinho, Ancelloti, Conte, and Tuchel not because they were poor managers; rather, it was clear that their time at Chelsea had come to an end, and the players and fans accepted this reality and moved on. Kloop's ability to save them from disaster will forever make him a Livarpool legend.

Benitez was considered as Mr. Liverpool, I believe he had a greater impact on the team and culture of Liverpool than Klopp.

At the end of the day, the club would always come first, and no manager is bigger than it. Zidane was one of the finest and won everything with Real Madrid, but when the squad started to struggle, he understood it was time to step down and let another coach take over. The outcome was better.

I'd rather lose every single one of those players than Klopp. That's including Salah, who has been our best player for a number of years. I'd be sad to see some of them go, but for me personally I don't want Klopp to leave. Klopp has a lifetime contract for me.

Benitez was a decent manager, and did some good. However, there's just no comparison. Klopp has stood up for the values of the team, would never accept a job against a direct rival, and that's not even a dig at Benitez. Klopp has just done so much, delivered our first Premier League title in over 20 years, and delivered a whole lot more than that. Plus, I don't believe managers are ever done. They just usually fit the blame. It's usually the owners that have stopped investing. Sir Alex would've excelled at Man Utd for as long as he wanted. Wenger lost the support of the board, but ultimately was their best manager. Klopp will be held in the same regard, and there's no way I'd support sacking him.

If he's lost the changing rooms like everyone is claiming. It's about time we replace that changing room then.

As for Manchester city's punishment, I hear there is an invisible hand that is really trying to make sure Man City doesn't win by possibly getting them expelled and providing a safe passage for Arsenal to take this one...am hoping they only get a hefty fine to survive this.

Btw with how things are unfolding, expect the odds on the outright winner to drop for Arsenal to win it because City is not going to be let off the hook!

Yes but, i dont think they are gonna really punish them, and anyways if they do, only 15 points dont its too much, also you have to wait so longo to see if this finally comes, because after sometime they will appeal to the TAS and that can make the decission delay for years.

The club cannot file an appeal to the court of arbitration for sports as they did the previous time they were poised to be expelled from UEFA competitions, according to the EPL regulations.

Manchester City has been informed that they cannot appeal, and instead must wait until the charges are confirmed and accept the punishment that is handed down to them. This charge relates to the English Premier League; it is a domestic violation, and every decision and penalty will take place within the league. I'm hoping it's not a cash fine since that would be pointless because they already have enough cash to cover it and move on. Consider taking this Mf to the championship or 15 points deduction.

UEFA will continue to conduct its own investigation, and if they are found guilty, they may be barred from participating in UEFA competitions. They are not going to pay their way out of this one.

I really don't understand what exactly all these charges are and it seems to be indirectly related to the leaks made in german papers a few years ago that led to their earlier fine and almost banned from UCL.

I cannot point fingers, my own club is guilty of all kinds of nonsense it made the club lose fans and those who stayed still feel sick today for what it did (let's say pigeon shit in our stands and in our food is how bad it got because money went everywhere except to the club).

For me, clubs are businesses so in a way owners can do whatever they want that's fine but they all want a room in the castle. So I agree FFP is about fairplay, owners don't live on their own in a castle, the castle has many royals and one cannot use the treasury for himself.

I guess this is why some clubs want their own castle with Super League.

My guess is that this is an attempt to curb clubs that have inflated spending to unrealistic levels that will never pay off as a normal business, without infusions from sheiks or other moneybags. What Chelsea is doing deserves a separate discussion, but probably "questions" will be voiced to them also soon.

Chelsea has no debt and also one of the best net spends in England; they signed players worth £341m but only paid £52.6m upfront for the entire deal, which is less than what other clubs spent. Chelsea did not break the rules; instead, they discovered and exploited a loophole in the FFP rules before it was closed. We did what anyone else would do in our situation. I understand that most of you have no idea what amortizing is.

In tonight game I think or better I hope no surprises as I like many other bettors have bet on Manchester United to win.However I am worried that a truly big number of bettors are betting heavily on Manchester United,I am not saying anything or suspecting anything as you cannot do such things in the Premier League but history has shown that when all people bet only on the most predictable outcome usually ends in a draw or even a lost game,I mean this as I have seen this in other leagues.Also to make an analogy Manchester United when were playing a single game,if I am not mistaken it was a Wednesday against Crystal Palace away from home they could not go more than a draw when also at that time everyone was betting on them.However this is only a conspiracy theory  and Leeds is in big trouble so most likely United is going to win tonight.

I'm pretty sure I recall Man City being in similar trouble a few years ago, and they won it in court. I wonder now if that's going to be investigated, since I thought it was pretty damn obvious that City hasn't been following financial rules. I thought that was pretty obvious to most of us. I believe even Pep has been asked directly in a few interviews what he thinks about it over the years. So, there's definitely been a suspicion for years, and it's a little weird that they've already sort of gone through a similar process. Alright, it might be more escalated right now, but they've already challenged City before.

Will be interesting to see what the outcome is, but ultimately I don't think there will be much of a punishment. Remember though, that Derby got quite a severe punishment for their offenses, and were deducted points. That was on a much smaller scale than Cities too.

Good strikers, weak midfielders have been problems for Liverpool and Chelsea for a while now. When a club doesn't score many goals, the attackers aren't getting enough support from the midfield, and that's exactly what's happening with Liverpool and Chelsea. The midfield trio of Kante, Kovasic, and Enzo might drastically alter our situation.

I still don't understand how Tuchel won the UCL with the mediocre team Lampard left him; I usually tell people that a good manager can get something out of everyone, regardless of how poor a team is.

Pep made it clear to the club that he would go if they ever ran into issues with the FFP. The club convinced him that everything was fine and that they were on good terms with the FFP, but it is now obvious that they lied to him. We'll see if he sticks to his word and resign.
Now we can see why they hire capable attorneys each season.

Our defense isn't that poor, is it? Chelsea is now ranked 3rd as the side with the most clean sheets this season.

Damn, this is horrible. We haven't scored in the last 3 league games and have conceded 6 in that same period.

We have Everton and Newcastle before hosting Real Madrid, hopefully by that time we get Jota and Diaz back and in form. Other than CL, there's basically nothing to play for this season.

Hear, hear. From the days of Wenger, I've always felt that players don't take the blame enough. Or at least, personalities in the dressing room. It's your rice bowl, you play well, no matter what, you be a professional.

I know it's a simplistic view but it's valid: who's a better Klopp replacement now? Will he inherit the same inability to move in transfer?

Klopp worked well as part of the triumvirate in recruitment -- owner, front office, coaching -- when Edwards left, it wasn't so bad, Ward was a good understudy. Then FSG decided they'd had enough and "tested the waters". TF. Ward promptly announced his departure and then Graham (the brains behind out stats approach). But that's okay, you still got Graham and Klopp right? Wrong. Graham's busy looking for buyers or new owners so it's Klopp all alone now in recruitment.

He can't coach as well as he did, the team has less of his presence, his focus on mentality, etc. He's busy trying to buy players without the input of the brains he used to so he can only do what coaches traditionally do: look for potential with snatches of evidence (that's Cody Gakpo's WC exploits, in a nutshell).

That's pretty hilarious, but it is also very a horrible stats to be honest speaking, but I'm still amazed as to why Jurgen Klopp have made any significant tactical difference, I believe he needs to implement a new style or approach of play, there is a shit load of creativity lacking within the team so, the least I was expecting from a manager of his standards is to do a lot of heavy rotation and approach, you can't keep doing things the same way with the expectation of a different result.

As for my FPL if I'm able to save up my transfers ahead of their double game week, then I sure would bring a number of their outfield players in, 4 points from each of them if they fail to score and booked will be than 2 potential from other alternatives, every single points now counts significantly for me.

first match is with us, Merseyside derby, and Salah is best scorer in those matches from all active players in both teams
but, Dyche made Everton better, and with Liverpool playing as with Wolves, everything can happen

I don't know if I brought bad luck with my analogy that when a single game in the Premier League is being played and all bets are toward the favorite,in this case Manchester United usually it ends up in a draw or a lost game but the fact is that Manchester United did not start in the right way and conceded a goal early in the game.Leeds is leading now 0-1 which is something that of course made this game much more beautiful to watch as Manchester will definitely try to recover and win the game and they have the possibilities to do so.I only hope is not one of those bad luck nights.

More like Guardiola to retire out of embarassment and will return to Catalonia for a long sabbatical.  He trusted the Man City brass that they didn't have any shenanigans of this sort going on behind the club.  He could've been aware that something was going on but nothing seriously to be concerned over.  If it's all true, damn...  That's gonna turn everything they worked for upside down.  Hate to see it but what happens next should happen.

Now no elite manager is gonna want to touch City now after Guardiola's contract runs out.  Not to mention top players.
