hmmmm.. anyone know how to syphon Leccy from the street lamps? lol
I'm going with homemade solar cells, which I will fly on kites above the cloud cover myself Yeah, free leccy would be nice...damn nice... guess it's time to dig in the garage for that old bike... hmm could even start a gym based on this hahaha I propose a new coin! GymCoin [GYM]. A massive IPO offering of 50% of the coins in order to buy bicycles and hire people them to cycle like hell in the comfort of your own garage!

I can confirm seeing the same here - on the eu server. Most of the time I have seen this, the cudaminer reports "GPU #0 12345678 hashes 200kh/s" Then the miner seems to have no work for 5-60 seconds - GPU usage is 0% It only becomes active again after "Stratum detected new block" is received.
No connection timeout or accepted/rejected is reported in this "pause".
Aha, then so far, three of us have the same problem. Perhaps others havent noticed this yet. I also notice a few "Stratum connection timed out". It could be related. Maybe the shorter periods also are "lost connections", but shorter than the miners "timeout" value? A little more digging today. When the GPU activity is zero, I also receive a "Get Failure" on cgminer. It seems the worker cant get work, and pauses n*5 seconds to try get work again. So this seems to be related to "Get Failures". And it is currently on both eu and us server. (I have no statistics saying it is more frequent now than 1-2 weeks ago, though)

After being on this pool for the past 30 days and keeping tabs on the other places I had mined at previously, I can still say without a doubt that I am profiting more here. This may not be true for everyone as each person's location, set up, etc can and will make a difference. I do feel for the people who have to pay more for electricity. Even if I were making a little less here I would still remain here due to the attentiveness and helpfulness of Terk as well as the information he provides. Granted, it has been stated several times now that the overall altcoin situation is low at the moment. It happens, has happened before and will happen again. Just ride the rough patch and calmer waters will happen soon!

Guys,
I have around ~2% rejects here (by CM indications) CGRemote shows significantly bigger value, ~20%
Is it ok?

@tpa - from a smaller miner (less than 1 MH) I have to agree. I've tried a buttload of pools, and this one pays me best.

I wouldn't worry. You are getting paid by what the pool receives, not by what CGremote thinks. I have significantly lowered my reject rate by lowering the intensity a little, so I'm now below average. However, there are still huge spikes occasionally. Probably insanely fast coins. But that is only for a very short time. JJ

Nope. Terk prefers to keep that to himself. Besides, would it matter?

Just FYI, i split my hash between this site and mining straight DOGE the last 4 days. Straight DOGE was ~11.5% more profitable.

That is a decision which lies with you jpchrist I am not defending the pool or the owner particularly btw - I am actually not mining on here currently, I am mining in a LTC pool But my reason for that is not so much that Terk isn't profitable, because I believe he's as good (at least) as any of the others, but because I want to hold Litecoin. Currently profitability to mine LTC in a pool directly is a bit less, but I believe in the currency, so that's what I chose... People are losing faith in the altcoin market, because any cretin with a 101 in C++ can launch a coin now, and most of them run away with the money. Too many opportunities to waste your hashrate. In a pool like this, that becomes Terk's problem, and we pay him a miserable 2% to do it. Doesn't matter to us, but it adds up and he works hard for it. There are reasons to stay and reasons to go elsewhere. You just need to choose yourself Rit.

And fyi...that "miserable 2%" works out to be over $400,000 a year. I myself, would be happy to trade all your cyptos to others and take 2%.
