Can someone please assist me with this? I had 1M coins sent to the address I had for MINT yesterday. Today I wake up and I have a completely new address! The only changes I made were modifications to the mintcoin.conf file, trying to get the wallet to sync.

who send you the 1m? Can he provide transaction id?

Addresses won't be changed over night. You mean in "receive" tab there's no old receiving address now?

That's the transaction along with my old wallet. Yes, my old receiving address is gone and it's been replaced with a new one. I did not touch any file except the mintcoin.conf file adding nodes and trying to get the wallet to sync.

It can't. I don't know what could happened. I read on the forum about a tool to try to recover the old adress, but can't remember the name.

Please remove this from the OP, it's a scam.

I mined all night from launch only to not be able to withdraw my funds. When I click the e-mail activation code it says "Unable to activate your account. Invalid token.". When I try to contact the staff to tell them my problem via the contact page I get "There was a problem sending your message. Please try again.".

Scam? or just poorly run? Either way, you can't access the coins you have mined, and it allows you to mine before activation.

Hi, Im not a pool owner or anything but try again if it says invalid token and try again, it says that when it took long time between trying ur login and such, at least that is what I experienced when trying other pools.

I've tried a thousand times. It doesn't work, and it was yesterday since I created the account. I have been mining on it all night which is why I am annoyed. I wouldn't be bothered if I had no coins there.

I had a similar issue on another pool, but it wasn't a scam. Have you tried to enter your PIN number when you're modifying your account?

So you mean you generate address "MtpAYPcEZoDFiguzxkQjV6t86j9mCYydUF" yesterday. However there's no such address in wallet and balance is 0?

I don't believe changing conf file will cause this.

Remember next time encrypt and backup wallet file immediately after receiving big payment.

Ah I take back my scam accusation. Looks like the pool runs very differently from other pools.

I had to enter my pin in the account details and click "update" which is usually just to update your settings, even though all the setting are grayed out because it says you can't edit them until you follow the activation link (which doesn't work), but when you click it, it sends a new activation link which unlocks the details for you to edit.

Rather strange and confusing, but at least I got it working. Thanks for the help guys.

If you have the same wallet.dat file then there is no way you can delete a receiving address. Are you sure you gave them the correct address?

Correct. I had that address under receiving address yesterday, but today there is a new one. My wallet wouldn't sync at all yesterday. I changed the conf file and got it to sync. That is the only thing I changed.

I agree it's confusing, pool owners should write a message on top of the page to indicate how it operates, because how are we supposed to know?

For those of you having trouble syncing on Linux.  Make sure your conf file is named MintCoin.conf.  The help (./mintcoin-qt -?) says it is the default.

Good luck!

Today 2/8/2014. I downloaded the wallet yesterday. But the modify date seems to change with whenever you last opened the client, based on looking at some of the other alt coin wallets I have.
