hey guys, we are all the community of mintcoin
I think we dont know how does the multipool effect, so dont discuss that. thats no result.
i know the price is important part of a coin... but not the most.
if we want to make mintcoin be better, i think charity project is great. especially for environmental project!
thats why it calls mintcoin, right?

we have more exchange market than blackcoin
we can make great idea from this

I think we are just in consolidation. This is a good coin with a good community. We just need Time... Peace.

you are right. but need multipool

you are forgetting here that mintcoin is linked to btc and that you are "dumping" btc.

so maybe the price of mint will go up... if this becomes a standard, the price of btc will go down.

bubble: *poof*

Are you suggesting that selling BTC for MINT is g0ing to tank the 10 billion $ BTC market? If so, you really need to give your head a shake.

I agree, I think an environmental charity organization would be great for this coin. Maybe we could vote as a community on a charity (or charities) that we could start donating to through the Mintcoin Foundation?

Multipool is fine and all but what is the purpose of getting mintcoins out of it, just to hoard?  If the coin has any future it needs to be for being able to purchase goods or services, not hoard or trade in for BTC.  So far there is a marketplace on reddit which barely has any posts and usually is just to trade for another currency.

Heya, lets see if we can find the root of the problem.

Are you using the newest wallet (v1.5)? Did you move/send any of your coins in that wallet during those 20 days? When you open the wallet to stake, how long are you leaving it open?

thanks for your quick reply,
let me clarify:

my wallet is V1.4--- will update the newest.
i put coins in my wallet 20 days ago, i didnt move any coins at all.
i just opened my wallet some time to get sycned,, thats all, once it sycned, i closed wallet.
( do i have to open the wallet for 20 days sequensely, so that i can get stake interest ? )

try command setgenerate true -1 in the console

you can use variables 1,2,3,4, or -1 to assign processing power to generation, -1 is 100% cpu usage

Well I actually haven't started staking myself yet so my experience is limited. But based on what I've been seeing on the forums from other people working out the process, it seems like the following might help:

1. Upgrade wallet.
2. You may have to wait longer than 20 days, there is no guarantee that you will find a PoS block on the 20th day or any given day. The longer you wait and the more coins you have the better your chance of finding a block (analogous to hashpower and time when trying to find a PoW block). This also means that if some of your coins were deposited later than the 20 day old ones, they aren't able to stake yet but as they reach coin age and the stakeable amount increases your likeliness of finding a PoS block will increase.
3. When you open your wallet to mint, leave it open longer than is needed just to sync up. I'm not sure how long exactly but maybe a few hours? Definitely don't need to leave it open continuously for 20 days though.

Woah. I just did this and I instantly started to mint. I didn't think I was even up for minting yet because I moved coins on the 9th of march...
