can cgminer be also used for http://mintpool.us/mint/index.php or is sgminer better in any way? The pool is down for a couple of weeks. At least thats what they say on twitter Ya, I saw that too. There is no official Mintcoin multi-pool though, anyone can start one. It would be nice if someone else got another up and running soon something more powerful than last one would be good. I dont understand how it took one day to start but needs a couple weeks downtime now

Crindon, I know you were keeping an eye on it...how quickly did the buy wall at 10 sat go up?
It went up today, probably around 6:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. EST: It's a mintcoin extended team member doing it. He puts up a wall a few satoshis below the highest bid price, around 20 BTC worth (the other remaining BTC in the wall are organic). He did it last time too, but took it out, because he knew the price would keep dropping (basically to where we are now). I'm pretty sure I know who it is. He was posting about it in another forum and trying to round up some whales to join in. There are some big whales around. But, don't go digging around, since I don't want his plans foiled. If they can do the pump well, we can all profit from it. The important thing is to buy low if you can and hold right now. Now is not the time to sell. This is what I consider the calm before the storm. Keep your eyes and ears open and keep your eyes glued to the price charts. They are planning a large pump. They have 4-5 whales and they are communicating. Yes, I've read some things. No, I'm not a part of it, but I will watch. If they can take it up to 200 satoshis or more, that would be great. This is not a scam like those fakers orchestrating through twitter accounts. This group is a little more tightly knit and a little better organized.

because they probably weren't happy with their profit and want to wait 2 weeks to see if mint goes anywhere in that time.

I'm just hoping they weren't paid to wait. Anyways I hope someone takes the initiative and can fill their shoes quickly

I don't mind any whale planning a pump, as long as it's not followed by a dump. This would hurt mint IMO, so then I'd rather not see the pump. Mint will certainly rise over time.I believe that once we reach 5% minting the price will stabilise somewhat and this will be at a magnitude of what we are at now. It keeps amazing me how impatient most people are with crypto! Obviously, no one likes to see their investment decreasing in value but patience will be rewarded as long as we see investment in the development of this coin. Anyway I just minted my first coins. Wallet version 1.6 works like a charm. Joining the pact for 60 satoshis is not necessary for me, I am in it for the long run.

Wallet version 1.6 works like a charm. Joining the pact for 60 satoshis is not necessary for me, I am in it for the long run. A dump will probably be planned as well. Likely, it will be a pump, followed by a bit of relaxed activity, then a dump. I am not so worried about this since the pump will push the price up and the dump may lower the price, however, it won't be too low, and eventually, the price will go up anyway. Maybe, it will take a couple years, but I won't be selling. We should be entering 3 figure satoshi prices soon anyway, with or without the pump and dump.
