I think until Bitcoin price is stable, people are still consider it being risky to use/hold. Imagine someone's wealth is all in Bitcoin, they will be worrying about going back to zero every single day. So I would imagine the first thing that will change people's view is to stabilise the price of Bitcoin first. However, obviously this is beyond our control.

Getting people to understand crypto currencies and how they operate is one thing while getting people to invest their money in cryptos is another thing. I think we have to combine both and get more people not just to understand cryptos but to also patronize them.

To me I think by educating the public about the benefit of holding cryptocurrency as part of ones financial asset is the best way to change the public opinion of cryptocurrency and at same time weaning the negativity of bitcoins by exposing those that use it for scam and other illegal activities.

People view on cryptos and Bitcoin has changed
I read, 80% of the coins being dumped now are from long term holders, they want OUT!
Now there are 105,000,000 less visitors at coinbase. Google search for Bitcoin has fallen by -80%
It’s all because of the drop in the value of bitcoins. That’s why less and less people are bothering about researching and investing into the crypto currency and it’s not only Bitcoins but the other cryptos as well. This is just a phase and I do believe that Bitcoin will overcome it eventually. |

Those people who do not like bitcoin try to call it fraud or scam, because they dont have idea about what we called cryptocurrency and they dont even know how to use bitcoin and then they will no longer need to discuss the merits and demerits of the crypto currency. They are sure that bitcoin will remain afloat only as long as enough people buy the fiction that bitcoin is of real value. Such people do not understand the essence of bitcoin and do not seek to know it, so it's easier for them to condemn crypto-currency.

I am very aware of how the world of crypto now has helped us in finance and business but is very sad because most of the public view is just looking at how crypto.Namun unsafe users we know how to solve it and I am sure with a lot of community formed in each country then will strengthen the presence of bitcoin and gradually will understand the benefits of crypto for everyone who has it.

People's opinions are hard to change. Like others have said most that first heard of crypto currencies was more about the profits people were making. Many of the ones that entered at that point probably got burnt buying at an ath and of course they will panic and want out as quick as they got in. As more real world applications are shown working and that its is just as good as fiat for spending more may start using it as a means of payment.

before try to change the publics view we must have enough knowledge about crypto currency so we can try to explain about crypto to the publics, we can start from people around us and make them to know that crypto currency are not like they think before but we can get a lot of advantages from crypto. technology will continue to grow and we can not deny the development of technology forever especially crypto are the future currency.

It's hard to convince the public about cryptocurrency since it involves money. It's worsen because of so many scam project and scam investment. People are afraid they will loss their money if participating to cryptocurrency... Maybe, if they will see someone's life change for a better because of cryptocurrency then maybe they will follow and invest in cryptocurrency.
Be a role model to them so that we can really convince the whole society. Crypto must be kept clean and it's our duty to do what is good. Remember that we are the user and protector of this system so be sure that we are doing our part to prevent it from getting bad. And the result of crypto in our life must see in ourselves. |

This is just a simple task but I'm sure difficult to perform. Well technically in order for us to convince them we gotta be a good role model. They're looking after us so we must show them how good crypto is in our lives. What they see is what they get. Let's change their perspective by showing them what we have. |

Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?
I think all the information that is publicised should be refined. One way to ensure this is to make sure that the information about Cryptos that are publicised are wholesome and understandable enough for the lay man to comprehend. |

The best way to tell people about something is to let them know about the particular thing tell them details about what you are talking about. for me the way which i can use to tell people that are around me and change their perspective about their believe on bitcoin is to host a seminar about it for them to see and view it the way it is.

Gox scam, interest was low for at least a year or more. Now we're picking up speed again, the next couple of months we'll probably see another increase of interest. |

cryptocurrencies is a wild new world. A scam is spreading everywhere. And don't forget the malware about cryptocurrency. The uneducated will have a hard time for it. It is our job to educate them and making a handful article about how important security needed to be set up. |

Well as a community there is little we can do to help rise the awareness of the public about bitcoin due to the fact that the medium that we will have use is own and controlled by the enemies of bitcoin them self's which are the government, the banking institution and big cooperations such as social media, but we can talk to people one on one if we have access to them and try let them know the freedom we enjoy in bitcoin. |

We can change the public's view if we will show them our results for working in the cryptocurrency world. When i was a newbie and trying to encourage my friend to try bitcoin, they are all skeptical and look likes laughing at me but when they see me getting a lot of money from cryptocurrencies they start to envy and ask how i did it.

I think the groundwork will have to be laid for the Lightning Network, and cryptocurrencies will have to become more user-friendly to see increased adoption. While some may disagree, I think the technology sells itself to a large degree. We need more user-friendliness and security, such as insurance in case of theft or hacking.
