How do we change the public's view of Crypto world?

I think until Bitcoin price is stable, people are still consider it being risky to use/hold. Imagine someone's wealth is all in Bitcoin, they will be worrying about going back to zero every single day. So I would imagine the first thing that will change people's view is to stabilise the price of Bitcoin first. However, obviously this is beyond our control.

Getting people to understand crypto currencies and how they operate is one thing while getting people to invest their money in cryptos is another thing.  I think we have to combine both and get more people not just to understand cryptos but to also patronize them.

To me I think by educating the public about the benefit of holding cryptocurrency as part of ones financial asset is the best way to change the public opinion of cryptocurrency and at same time weaning the negativity of bitcoins by exposing those that use it for scam and other illegal activities.

I read, 80% of the coins being dumped now are from long term holders, they want OUT!

Now there are 105,000,000 less visitors at coinbase. Google search for Bitcoin has fallen by -80%

It’s all because of the drop in the value of bitcoins. That’s why less and less people are bothering about researching and investing into the crypto currency and it’s not only Bitcoins but the other cryptos as well. This is just a phase and I do believe that Bitcoin will overcome it eventually.

Those people who do not like bitcoin try to call it fraud or scam, because they dont have idea about what we called cryptocurrency and they dont even know how to use bitcoin and then they will no longer need to discuss the merits and demerits of the crypto currency. They are sure that bitcoin will remain afloat only as long as enough people buy the fiction that bitcoin is of real value. Such people do not understand the essence of bitcoin and do not seek to know it, so it's easier for them to condemn crypto-currency.

People's opinions are hard to change. Like others have said most that first heard of crypto currencies was more about the profits people were making. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?

I think all the information that is publicised should be refined.
One way to ensure this is to make sure that the information about Cryptos that are publicised are wholesome and understandable enough for the lay man to comprehend.

The best way to tell people about something is to let them know about the particular thing tell them details about what you are talking about. for me the way which i can use to tell people that are around me and change their perspective about their believe on bitcoin is to host a seminar about it for them to see and view it the way it is.

Yeah I believe it's just a cycle that repeats itself over and over again. Off course interest is going to drop when Bitcoin's price is dropping for a couple of months in a row.
We've all seen that happening before. With the whole Mt. Gox scam, interest was low for at least a year or more.

Now we're picking up speed again, the next couple of months we'll probably see another increase of interest.

cryptocurrencies is a wild new world. A scam is spreading everywhere. And don't forget the malware about cryptocurrency.

The uneducated will have a hard time for it. It is our job to educate them and making a handful article about how important security needed to be set up.

Well as a community there is little we can do to help rise the awareness of the public about bitcoin due to the fact that the medium that we will have use is own and controlled by the enemies of bitcoin them self's which are the government, the banking institution and big cooperations such as social media, but we can talk to people one on one if we have access to them and try let them know the freedom we enjoy in bitcoin.

When i was a newbie and trying to encourage my friend to try bitcoin, they are all skeptical and look likes laughing at me but when they see me getting a lot of money from cryptocurrencies they start to envy and ask how i did it.

I think the groundwork will have to be laid for the Lightning Network, and cryptocurrencies will have to become more user-friendly to see increased adoption. While some may disagree, I think the technology sells itself to a large degree. We need more user-friendliness and security, such as insurance in case of theft or hacking.
