Everyone has their own opinions and beliefs, what happens in the market is the fact that the most solid bitcoins remain at the top of altcoin, most of all fall deeply into trading bitcoin, the most suitable for trading close and far

I was looking at the possibility of investing in several Altcoins as part of my trading by selling off Bitcoins. I do feel that with proper planning and execution, the profits that could be reaped through these Altcoins by day trading in a week would be far superior to that of Bitcoin.

It is true I am talking in terms of a short term gain. BTC is certainly a long term investment but what about the short term gains? As an example, even if I invest in 1000 coins of IOTA or 10000 coins of NEM, I am assured of greater volatility in the market for these coins compared to that of BTC. If NEM makes a high on a particular day even by 0.05$ USD, I would make 0.05x10000 = 500$ USD in a day if I sell all my coins at that price.

Of course, trading does involve many other practical factors which make things not as simply as I write here. But being a pro I can simplify the complexity and say that it is certainly possible to make it so.

But will this not be a way to make decent income every day? When you invest in cryptocurrency, it is a need for one to continually observe the market trends. When one is able to understand the intricacies of the market then it is better that he takes up (day) trading.

After all it is important we make money on a regular basis apart from the long term investment isn’t it so?

Couldn't have said it better my friend. I too am currently trading Bitcoin for alt coins. Volume of alt coins are not as high as bitcoin which makes them far more volatile and allows me to profit from the highs and lows. When I sell altcoins at a higher price I receive bitcoin and keep it as bitcoin in belief that bitcoin will surge in price at some point.

In most cases, I trade altcoins in order to invest part of the profit in bitcoin. For me, bitcoin is of great value. Among the altcoins I distinguish Ethereum and ripple. I also invest in them in the long term.

I am not a regular trader of altcoins but i always try to store more and more bitcoins as well as ethereum.
I know it takes more patience than altcoins to earn profits but altcoins usually drop upto 90% at same time.
So i can say sometimes i do trade between bitcoin and  altcoin but i often don't like to trade bitcoin to buy altcoins

The main thing is to have enough money for such transactions.
For example, having a deposit in each altcoin of about $ 5000, and the names of the coins in the amount of 7-10 pieces.
If you have a little experience and good intuition, you will succeed. I checked.

I have chosen a strategy to keep the currency. The market is too unstable now to buy and sell something. You can easily drain all the money. And the goal before us is to Increase.Because keep in them.
This decision is based on the cost benefit analysis. If your calculation about the benefit of doing so is positive, go for it. Bitcoin is money and you can buy Altcoin with it only if there is profit in doing so.

Normally it is advised to keep Bitcoin but another factor that is called the diversification of portfolio can also be a reason why should you think about buying Altcoin with Bitcoin. This has other advantages and I believe one should have some diversification as well.

I will never trade all BTC to buy other alt coins.
We all know BTC is most dominating coin in cryptocurrency. Btc have its own position in cryptos. No other coin can replace btc in the terms of its demand, market cap and returns. Many alt coins following btc in this league. I would say to secure my portfolio never trade all my BTC but yes partially can do. Can trade my partial btc to buy other alt coins to minimize the risk.

Probably not. Even though I really like various altcoins and hold some of them - I would not exchange BTC in altcoins favor, as for me it is not profitable economically.

Yes, it's better to hold your bitcoin and dont miss the chance if the price of bitcoin will rise up some time if this probably happen in not expecting time.

No, I will not trade BTC, in order to pour them into another currency. I remain in my opinion that BTC will find its growth, which will affect my profits.

When the market fell, I used Bitcoin to trade with altcoin because then I could buy good altcoin at a very low price. Exchange of BTC-ALTCOIN is very easy on many exchanges so any investor can do very well. At present, it is possible to invest short-term in order to get good profit because the market is fluctuating strongly.

I prefer to keep my btc, and stay away from altcoin trading.
this is too risky I can lose my money / assets in a very short time.
it's a bad thing that I have to avoid. keep holding back.

It is a good tip so that it can make the price of bitcoin and altcoin rise, in this way bitcoin and altcoins don't lose value so they can make the price improve someday.

If ever you're going to trade your bitcoin with altcoin for more percent profit, it would be good to choose the right altcoin. Look for the one with small price at the moment but most likely will increase its price in the future. You need to do research, readings, and assessment of the altcoin.

It depends how much btc i have btc in my portfolio.
Yes, i can trade my btc for other alt coins but partially. I will never trade all my btc for alt coins as we are well aware btc is leader in cryptos. I will trade my btc prtially only then if am getting pretty good returns from other alt coins. Trading all btc for other alt coins will be a witless decisiom.

Trading altcoins is risky, it can bring big profits as well as big losses. You must have great intuition because even the professional technical analysis can't predict the right moment for buying/selling. Also, you should compare the risks of trading altcoins with the possible losses of just holding bitcoin. Then you will clearly see if it's worth it.

of course, with so many storing bitcoin and altcoin, for a price increase it can be fast because like bitcoin the market demand is getting bigger, the price of bitcoin can get more expensive and continue to rise
