What I don't understand are the punctuation marks and the multiple full stops. What kind of crappy software provides such results? On a phone, the full stop is right next to the spacebar button. He might be typing it manually. But someone with such limited English language skills would surely make spelling mistakes as well, however, there are none in his posts. Spellcheck and Grammarly would surely fix that.  

now that you mention spell check and Grammarly, I think you're right. my phone does have a spell check feature. seeing that the period button(which I always accidentally push every time I type on my phone) is right next to the space bar on phones, it's probably the most likely scenario. I completely forgot about the spell check features on phones, that's why I thought of a translator.

This isn't really a funny shitpost, but it's a god-awful one, and I'm starting to see a lot more of these types of posts in Economics--and of course, Bitcoin Discussion is just infested with them.  Are there more signature campaigns running these days or what?

bitcoin is still a dream and will always be like that at least for the next few years it is not wrong to categorize this currency as a very beautiful treasure.
regardless of the standard you say I don't care because to me if btc is measured by the standard you say it will look like it's not a very strange thing anymore and become commonplace because it has created a standard as you say because if it is usually one of the goods or whatever it is what is used as a standard will usually only be stuck in place because their standards have been thought of to what extent.
other than that bitcoin will still be bitcoin and will stay that way at least for the next few years so I don't really understand why some people consider bitcoin to be a substitute for a country's currency?
I don't really mind the opinion because it's legal but the fact is until now it's also clear that bitcoin is an alternative and will be like that at least for the next few years and even to the end.

That might be a discussion best had in the thread dedicated to the upcoming channel, but I'm actually glad you brought it up.  Personally I think it'd be amusing if a very short slot in a video dealt with some of the absolute crap that members write, but I'm not sure if "shitpost shaming" would go over well with the video maker(s).  For one thing, it'd have to be done tactfully without actually calling these idiots out by name, else the channel would appear malicious.  For another, it could make the forum look bad if it even came close to admitting there was a problem with nonsensical posts driven by bounties/signature campaigns.

But that last part--about the incentive for members to write 150 characters worth of shizzle--really should be discussed in one of the Youtube vids.  That's my opinion at least.

Given the massive moves we are experiencing in the short term Bitcoin price, things are getting very foamy. I think we are going to have a big price correction in Bitcoin. Because I think BTC could drop to $30,000 to $20,000, which would be a 50% drop.

I think it looks like a bull market will increase BTC around the $40k level. It could also reach territory above $42k. If it does, it could hit $50K in the near future. Bitcoin price will continue to rise in the near future. Investing in the volatile crypto market can be a daunting task that becomes increasingly difficult for novice traders.

For reference the price was between $44k and $47k during the ~3 days so the first post kinda made sense, the second one is a bit schizo, and the third one is complete nonsense. I've seen accounts that lost their marbles after a 6-month break but never seen one going full noodle in 2 days.

Oh lordie....I recently un-ignored the Speculation section because it seems like there have been very few decent threads in my feed as of late--and I'm sorry I did, because I forgot how shitty Speculation actually is.  Obviously Mr. asrinur there was just writing gibberish in accordance with whatever thread he happened to be posting in, regardless of whether it made sense or if he actually meant what he was writing.

I've asked this before, but I don't think I've gotten an answer: are there more bounties/campaigns going on now than there have been, say, for the last year or two?  I'm just wondering because it really seems like there have been a lot more shitposts in the sections I frequent, and the forum had been pretty readable for quite a while up until recently.

If all (or most) campaign managers were doing their job the way they were supposed to do it, and had high criteria - then they would find it very difficult to fill places in their campaigns. That's why someone invented the "5 merits in 120 days" rule, which is nothing but something that suits shitposters. Let’s change that to say 25 merits in 120 days, and I believe the amount of signature spam will drop by at least 30% - 50%.
