Depends on the coin. If you hold a bullshit some no faith will help. If the coin is decent and provided that the market will be green everything will be fine.

I also hold the scam coin and now I don't know what is the use of this coin, I hope for regulation Bounty more tightened program especially for Bounty hunter protection. I am a hodling coin that awaits the increased coin value and I always raise high on the coins I have especially on projects that have a good future |

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?
Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?
I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect
I think that at this time we are able to start consolidating and hold long term, we can see that the market at the moment is showing uptrend very clear, bitcoin prices are constantly increasing and prices of altcoin also began to adjust the strong recovery. The market is moving up and I believe bitcoin prices will probably reach $ 10000 in the coming days. |

I also think that the HODL is not exactly what you need to go on regardless from circumstances. But you can consider this concept.
If HODL is about a year, then I am positive about this. For example, for those who entered on the market in late 2017 early 2018 and didn't sell their coins at once, the HODL is now the best strategy. Crypto market is volatile. But most of the coins will survive from what is happening all of 2018 and return back to the predicating marks and reach new heights.
Personally, I leave a small part of the profits in coins and don't touch them at all. I wonder how much they will cost in 2-3 years. This, too, is a peculiar kind of HODl.
So I think that HODL is neither good nor bad. Everyone chooses for himself this strategy depending on his circumstances.

I believe in hodling solid coins with good potential and capacity to grow.
Especially currencies with viable applications and usability.

I do not think hold is a good choice at this point, you can see that the market is fluctuating continuously, bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting and the moment we are still not able to know the market is uptrend or not. Currently bitcoin is adjusting at $ 7700 but the price of altcoin is starting to fall, so I think you should not invest in altcoin at this time. |

Buying and holding can be a good choice. I belive that "time in the market" is a more prudent investment style than "timing the market.

I believe in Holding, and I think this is an excellent choice for the Crypto market. If all people choose Holding, they will help the Mayor stay on the uptrend and will not worry about the financial losses that investors often face. Holding should be accepted as a rule, and everyone should follow it.
I myself fully believe on bitcoin holding. I think that holding bitcoin is the best way for making, it is more safer than trading, where you need experience and study, while in holding bitcoin you only have to wait for some good time and when you realize that bitcoin price is now giving you some profit then you can sell and get profit. |

I still here who believe in holding a btc and other altcoins. I believe that btc will rise again and reach @ $20000. I am waiting for that price, just like the price last year.

well,, it depend upon to the kind of your coin ,if you will see have potenial growth in the future you can hold for awhile to make sure you have a great profit after all but if will not have a possible to growth in the future base on your the viewers and for your own research better to sell immediately if needed.

It easy for the others to say HODL but in reality its is very tough decision to make specially on this current market performance in which i think bearish is not over yet. HODL is only good if the market is healthy in which most of the coins are stable and strong so for now i just sell high and buy low strategy. |

I think crypto market works like stock & commodities market, they have similar and same pattern/ trend. Nothing wrong with hold as long they take the right product ( coin ), about the coin can long life who can answer that question?. Financial technology always create new system/ product/ method which can use to create income, understand that as chance to change our life. See this topic as one big picture not part of, it will be easy to understand " hold ". All investors believe in holding. Holding your coin is the easiest thing in crypto world. If you have extra money buys some bitcoin or Altcoin and wait for the price to grow. When it grows you will earn profits without doing exactly anything. If you want to earn in short time then you will have to trade which is not as easy as holding. It needs experience and skills. |

I think who have real patient and have a lot of experience they always believe in holding. Our business isn’t for only Bitcoin or Ethereum. We can be involved with other coins. If you hold coins you must have a quality for a long time watching for what is going on the market. As BTC is the most powerful coins ever and at the moment goes lower and lower we can buy it and hold.

if you're afraid of losing what you're struggling to think of the currency of you, the one that works best for you is to be safe and not lose you, it's also ok to sell your coin but always do this for your sake and not to take this also if you are afraid of the results. |

Most people who hold is person with busy schedules often are people with busy schedules on work or on their school activities and doesn't have enough time to trade... A they believe in holding and just keep on touch with the coins value that they have...
