After waiting for some months for ico's I invest to come on board but to no avail, i wish to re-strategize on alt coin that are on coinmarketcap.
Please can someone tell me good coins a least five different coins below $1?

For now, you can invest Ethereum coins and so now many people are investing in Ethereum because this coin has decreased therefore I suggest you invest in Ethereum although now the price of Bitcoin also decreased you can also invest in it with the short term because many people say if the bitcoin price will come back

maybe you can take a look ada, xem, str, xrp, trx, bytecoin, ziliqa, 0x, bts, sc, verge and many more altcoins that you can choose. but for me, from that list, I don't know about ziliqa and maybe that coin is good enough to help you to make a profit in the long-term. and if you want to buy the tokens, it is better to wait after the tokens get a list on the exchanges so you can buy with the lower price because mostly, after it gets listed, the price will drop too deep so this is your chance to buy that tokens.

I recommend using Ripple as Altcoin for investment. I continue to see Ripple's growing achievements from its growth. so it's great to have Ripple for investing especially in the long run. so with investments, it will generate profits that are so greatly improved.

Invest in coins that are bottomed out due to the bear market, but have great potential for future growth. I'm looking at Morpheus Network right now, as they've got a great team and a platform that will undoubtedly be of use to companies that have to deal with logistics and supply chain solutions worldwide.

They're performing a token swap right now, so I'd wait until after that's done and buy tokens. It's got a pretty small market cap because it's a relatively new coin, so big potential in the next year IMO.

This is an interesting question. I heard lots of different suggestions and read many articles about that, so I manged to make some kind of conclusion for myself. So, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple are definitely good for investing. Also, I saw authors mentioning Bitcoin Cash, Dash, EOS, Litecoin, Cardano, Tether and Stellar. One thing I realized for sure is that no one can make a choice for you. So, you’ll need to make another research anyway.
IMO, it's better to invest in XRP. I think so not only because it has low price, but also becouse it's fast and secure. First I think ICO investments can bring you big loss. And secondly, I think you can always have a chance to have good profits with the coins like eth, ltc, neo which are not below $1.

And finally, stellar is under $1 and can be profitable for the future.

I still hold ripple in three exchange and I am waiting for the price to increase again. yes, I agree with you that ripple starts to grow and I hope that the price can reach the highest price again. my target price to sell is about 22k satoshi like in the last year and I am sure that ripple can increase at that price so my profit will bigger too. but I will wait for a while especially if bitcoin price cannot increase more than the price now and it only makes me be patient waiting for the price.

Are you sure about that? Such investments are far more riskier than the safer investments like Ethereum and Litecoin. This is simply a high risk high reward scenario. There is a possibility to earn huge rewards by investing in less popular coins since they could rise by x10 or x100 in the future, but they could also fall in value by x10 or x100 and you would suffer a big loss. Research is vital in this case.

there are some altcoins in coinmarketcap that have a good potential to boom, like iota, nem, bytecoin, zilliqa and bitshares.  a good choice to invest on low cap coins are the privacy coins like deeponion, privcy, verge etc etc.
