Well, most of the investors that get sucked in is the newbie investors and maybe a greedy investors, some people thought that they can earn easy money from ICO project, and the developers price prediction will come true, but most of the time in reality the price never reach the target and being dumped instantly after it hit exchanges, some people only tempted by the profit but not do the proper search, maybe they need a big lost to learn the lesson

For them getting lucky on one coin will be worth it. For them it is like hitting the lottery, which personally i do not think is called investing but gambling. They are betting on some coins that has low potential. They do not realize they are just making the creator of the coins richer and them poorer. Again before you invest on anything study it. Check if this coin has a real potential.

I agree to you as well lots of people invest their money in particular coin without studying it too much. They are just only hoping that the coin they've invest will have a high potential. Because lots of people want to earn profit easily without doing anything. They are just wasting their money for other. I think most of them don't need to learn but maybe most of them are new comers in Crypto in which they don't know on how to deal with these airdrops so for me the best way to prevent these scam projects of existing is to strongly support the regulation so that these scam airdrops will be segregated from the good projects.

In my own experience, we should not generalize things that we dont know, there are lots of successful initial coin offerings out in the market, they are not scam and their goal is as true and legal as what outside the cryptoworld have in mind, yes there are some scammers that uses the name ICO but its partly our fault why we had been scammed.

It is easy to answer those and there are actually different answer that. A lot of people are joining the cryptocurrency space to be a millionaire, there's no joke about that. People tend to hope for it which results into them buying or joining a lot of self drop projects which will eventually and most likely won't get into an exchange. The other reason is that they want to profit even though it's little and take advantage of newbie investors that buys dung coins or useless altcoins hoping to make a profit.

I completely agree with this comment. We don’t know people’s minds and motives as well as we don’t read their minds but let’s be careful also to comment negatively as if they desired what happened to them. Many times they are also victims of such scams at the middle or end of the campaign already. you raised most vital issue currently the market is facing, i think people are always in missing fear, everybody thinking in the same way that they might skip a chance to get it which is in future going to be a hit. So main reason is behind that people consider that this is his chance.
