Have you asked bitember where your coins are? The blockchain was only restarted, so once they have updated their wallet you should be able to get your coins, unless of course then mined the old block chain.

It's not the fault of the Ruby devs if a pool doesn't update their wallet. How many were you expecting?

thanks for the response, i went into pool chat and kazooka made it good.  however, if the pool doesnt fix the wallet, no one will be able to get their coins out.  as for me, there are other profitable coins to mine, so for now, i am done with rubycoin, but may change my mind later.

just a note to dev's and pools, the miners are the ones providing the support for the blockchain and its transactions, if you screw over the miners, you have no support for the blockchain.  thanks to kazooka for making my mining effort cured.

There were problems with the POS transition. Dev has devised a well thought out solution, and as a bonus is adding features to the coin. Ruby is far from dead, as a 10x increase in trading volumes on Bittrex indicates

Altcoins are supposed to disappear, Rubycoin just keeps coming back for more!

This is strange, you don't see that kind of dedication very often, but I like it.

I'm in.

Good job everyone, we have our 5th exchange: https://coin-swap.net/market/RBY/BTC

Setup some buy and sell walls to show our support!

Hi, I have a small collection of RUBY coins and haven't been online much the last few weeks.

I've just read you're front page that we are supposed to upload all our RUBY coins to Bittrex and then re-download them again?  Does this apply to the other exchanges as well?

Thanks for reading.

rubycoin is a great coin... great coins take dedication and commitment...  let's be clear about something here... this is a top-notch developer and most coins would die to have such a talented dev. kassado has made bigger contributions to crypto development than most people realize... thanks man!

Hey Kassado,

I after I updated to the lastest wallet and send my coin to the my bittrex wallet, I have not see them get any confirmation or show up in Bittrex.

Sending a large amount of coin can sometimes take a few blocks before the confirmations start rolling in.

Let me know how it went.

I sent 20k to Bittrex yesterday (11/6) and they haven't shown up. I sent them from the old wallet by accident. They have zero confirmations but is there a way to get them back or are they toast??  Huh

Have you opened your wallet.dat in the new wallet? If there's zero confirms I believe they should still be on your address you sent from as the old wallet is now on a dead fork right? Good luck to not m8 hope u didn't send them to oblivion.

using the new wallet doesn't do any good. They are marked as spent even though they are unconfirmed. Is there a way to scrub an unconfirmed transaction from the wallet. I found -zapwallettxes but no sure how it works in windows: command line: Go to folder -> rubycoin.exe -zapwallettxes ?

Try this reddit post I found. It's for dogecoin but it should work for any Bitcoin based currency using a qt wallet.

What a scum bag this dev is lol Leaves his own coin stranded to do work on other coins, tried scamming Arch without releasing any work while simultaneously "trying" to fud and now finally he's bringing the ruby coin his scraps lol. He cares about money not his own community or coin. All these features were planned on Arch and he didn't complete his job in time so now ruby gets the leftovers, good obedient dogs you are lol

the dumprivkey and re-import worked for me. Kinda funny it took two tries. The first time I left my computer for awhile and the privkey imported all the real transactions, and then some time later, included the non-spent transaction (as unconfirmed of course). So I tried it again and quickly spent the coins before it could load in the un-spent transaction and it worked somehow.

SO it worked. But I really don't know why. Grin
