Listing DUSK on Binance.com is the first step in exploring increased interoperability between DUSK ERC-20 & BEP-2, and the upcoming mainnet coins. This interoperability allows us to tailor to the needs of various communities and partners, and significantly amplifies the growth rate of our ecosystem, whilst leaving flexibility for technical and commercial collaborations on all fronts.

"Binance will list Dusk Network (DUSK) and open trading for DUSK/BNB, DUSK/BTC, DUSK/USDT, DUSK/USDC and DUSK/PAX trading pairs at 2019/07/22 10:00 AM (UTC). Users can now start depositing DUSK in preparation for trading.

The Dusk Network team will donate 3,012 BNB to the Blockchain Charity Foundation in appreciation for this listing.

You may deposit ERC20 DUSK tokens to your Binance account by depositing to your ETH deposit address.

We are listing the BEP2 version of DUSK as the default token. Users will only be able to withdraw the BEP2 version of DUSK tokens.

The DUSK token asset page is available on the Binance Chain explorer."

Very soon the dusk network coin is going to list in binance exchange, yesterday i have seen their announcement in twitter and very good news for the people who has strong faith on this company. I hope binance didn't mention when they are going to list?

The trading of DUSK token is now active on binance.com
We can trade them against BTC, BNB, USDC, PAX and USDT. No binance didn't provide any specific reason for listing of DUSK on centralized exchange.

I was able to get more details about the unintentional stopping of the Dusk Browser Node.
Mostly it happens, when I start my computer the first time.
The symbol indicates that the extension is "on", but CPU-monitoring indicates, that no calculations were done.
After switching "off" and "on" the extension works again and counts up the token.
This behaviour is evident in the browsers Chrome, Brave and at different computers.
So it seems to be a starting problem after a boot or waking up from hibernation state.

I looked once again your document Zerocaf and only now figured out how you get there is a curve of such a bottle shape of y=(x^3+ax+b)^0.5 (page 10). The bottle shape is obtained if a<0 and b>0. But in the document both numbers are greater than 0. Or is it just an abstract example?

Listing to Binance global was too fast. I know only one project which was listed so fast to Binance Global after Binance Dex - Fantom... Marketcap still very low compared with other projects on binance, so hope for 2-3x soon

That the Binance effect did not last very long might be an understatement. But no despair. Look at Chainlink for example, which was listed on Binance in 2017. Before May it barely traded over $0.50. By the end of last month a single token was worth $4.

If the team will continue to work as is doing now, in the distant future i don't see any issue in the growing of the price.

but now, there is no clue how to deposit or i should say 'swap' between erc20 and bep2.

Yes, AFAIK ERC-20 based DUSK is currently being traded on HotBit and bittrex whereas BEP-2 tokens are only traded on Binance's DEX and CEX.
Not sure about coinexchange because never used them.

Yes, AFAIK ERC-20 based DUSK is currently being traded on HotBit and bittrex whereas BEP-2 tokens are only traded on Binance's DEX and CEX.
Not sure about coinexchange because never used them.

Coinexchange doesn't use BEP-2. AFAIK only Binance DEX and CEX are using BEP-2 atm, so it should be easy to determine which token are traded on which exchange.

the token in the bep-2 version is only on binance dex, on all other exchanges is in the erc-20 version...

The core methodology of our network is embedded into the consensus algorithm, SBA★. SBA★ splits the workload among two distinct node types - Block Generators and Provisioners. These nodes safeguard the network and are rewarded for processing truthful information to the network. To sustain their operations, nodes are compensated in DUSK. Their payment is a combination of the transaction fees that are levied and a block reward from the Dusk Network incentivization pool.

DPoS is just a variation of PoS nodes are even more centraliseds to a delegated few. Dusk's consensus mechanism has built in resistence (on the protocol level) against the attack vectors commonly talked about in literature on (d)PoS, namely:

1) nothing-at-stake attack - in summary it is the problem with (d)PoS systems where nodes don't lose anything from behaving badly, they lose nothing by forking the chain as they will receive both coins on both chains if a fork happens. Note: this problem does not exist with Proof-of-Work (PoW) as the miner gets the most reward from being on the correct chain as that is where their hashing power lies, and;

2) long-range-attacks -  because of its voting system that is built into the Dusk blockchain and is being engineered to avoid chain divergence.

As for the nodes:
Network nodes - transactional network clients. They compete with each other by locking an arbitrary amount for the generating and proposing of new blocks. Block generation is a computationally light task and therefore running a node does not require neither specialised equipment nor storage. The intention is for normal mobile devices to be able to run as a node within the network. The non-deterministic nature of the bidding process makes it so that even nodes bidding the minimum amount of DUSK have a fair chance to win the block generation sortition lottery.

Provisioners - These are nodes that have committed a certain minimum stake to the Dusk Network and take care of more network intensive tasks such as block verification, voting, and notarization (VVN operations). These types of nodes are non-transactional

The intention is to create an economy where nodes compete for block rewards, while Provisioners earn a steady ROI.
