Automated burn? Yay! Do that mean we can keep the Cypherfunks decentralized, or do the payouts still need to be manually dispersed? Also were we really mentioned at Inside Bitcoins conference? I searched for Cypherfunks and all I found was this: I saw this quote "Painters, scribes, sculptors, designers, musicians and performers are discovering the disruptive techno-muse released to world by the craftings of Satoshi and the earlier cypherpunks" Maybe that's why you thought we were mentioned?

Automated burn? Yay! Do that mean we can keep the Cypherfunks decentralized, or do the payouts still need to be manually dispersed? The Cypherfunks will always have been decentralized once all the coins have been issued. What happens with this setup is that, it is possible now to burn coins from FUNK to XFNK without me having to manually check the details each time. It's a program that sits in the middle: automatically checks for burns and issues tokens to new addresses. It's still "centralized", but I don't have to be around. Also were we really mentioned at Inside Bitcoins conference? I searched for Cypherfunks and all I found was this:

I received this mention: https://twitter.com/BitcoinCartoon/status/519612245165080576. And they pointed out it was at that specific talk. It most likely came up in discussion. We will see once they release the video (they did record it).

Hey guys. Just here to give an update. Apologies, been quite busy. Trying my best to get to this (the automated burn).
The faucet is expiring in 4 days. Instead of continuing with the hosting of it at altcoinfaucet, I'm going to stop paying the hosting, and move the funds back into the bounty pool (of what's left). Would've done it anyway for the new move.
I assume that's okay?

There's a lot more in it than I thought. Someone else seemed to have donated (a part from the 1M I put in from the bounty funds).
There's 5.8M in it. Is it still fine if I take it back it put back into bounty funds?

I'm wondering if an XFK faucet might actually be a good idea. It might circulate some the of the new XFK to people. Couldn't we burn the faucet to XFK?

Been a while since I've been around, thread is uber long now, seen people talking about merging or parrallelling the coin, what does it all mean? I have a bunch of old FUNK I mined some time back, is it all dead now?
Hey! Nope. We are moving over to a Dogeparty token instead. Basically, for a project like this, it doesn't make sense anymore to have a full-blown altcoin. The economics don't quite make sense. You'll be able to burn your FUNK to a new token. It's not dead! I have some potentially great news to share. I've been contact with some guys that will possible mean that we can actually do a completely automated burn (across chains. Yes. Across chains). We are breaking new ground here and setting examples of how these projects will run into the future. Exciting times. Will share more soon. Cheers mate, got worried when I fired up the PC and only found 600k FUNK, fogot I had stashed 140 Mil of them on the MacBook, lol, all synced and looking good now

I am pretty sure I dumped 3.1 ( ish) mil in there at some point, if that is the case, then I have no objections in it moving to bounties, and if you are short, shout me and I'll throw a few more at you

Yep. That's what I was thinking. So I'm going to take out those coins, and when the burn comes, change it over to XFK into a new bounty pool. I'll get to some coding today!

Can someone please explain the benefits of moving to a Colored "Party" coin? Thanks!
A colored coin is only an IOU. In fact, you can issue IOUs using Open Transactions directly if you wanted to, without using a blockchain at all. I believe there are certain benefits, from OT's perspective, to using blockchain-based IOUs inside of OT, versus issuing the IOUs in OT directly.

Since I think XFK is supposed to be based on Dogeparty, that would make it a blockchain-based IOU. If I understand the lingo correctly. Otherwise, please correct me if I'm wrong.

well i've been bagging abt 6 mil/day w/my little gpu, but my pockets are kinda full, and i found a sweet lil low diff coin to hop on, so if someone might steer their rig in the funky direction, allcrypt might loose this: Deposits and withdrawals will be delayed. No new blocks have been received in 9 minutes (updated 2 hrs). Average block time for the last 250 blocks has been 2.09 minutes. i like to think i can do it all by myself, but then there is reality ...

I'm maxed out on all my machines mining FUNK. Are not enough people mining FUNK for the exchange to work properly, or what does this mean?
