Congratz, an early but strong contender for the most cringeworthy post of the year. Ridiculous even by your own very very low standards, or has your account been hacked by your drunken 3-year-old brother?
Weren't you the one that LOVED the Blackcoin music video so much ?? THAT is a pretty low standard for sure... LMAO

Can you fill the questionnaire? Sure. Thanks. Is this right? Some corrections. Consensus Mechanism | Pure PoS (PoW was only in distribution phase) | Worst Case for Confirmation Time | Infinity <-- thats right but can you please elaborate on this category? Its infinity for every blockchain in my definition. | Network Security Costs | 1% of expected market cap over a one year time period <-- this is a theoretical maximum, since inflation is 1% of staking coins | Mobile Wallet | Yes. Full node: https://github.com/janko33bd/bitcoinj/tree/blackcoinj Lightweight: http://coinomi.com/ | Pruning | No active development on that in BlackCoin afaik, however, Gavin Andresen often speaks about it in his blog so it might be implemented in the Bitcoin core and eventually be merged into BlackCoin (in contrast to NXT, BLK is forked from the bitcoin core). | Voting System | In development, its the same technology as messaging and will be part of blackshares. | Alias System | Considered (not really planned) |
I think 0.08 tps (transactions per second?) is off too. I think it should be: tx size / 1 mb = tx/minute. say 1tx = 1kb, then 1000tx / minute? Bitcoin is 7tps? BC should be 70tps with current values?

Depends how "transaction load" is defined. 70 tps is the maximum number that is possible. I thought he meant the current average transaction load, which was around 300 per hour when I looked it up so 0.08 tps would be correct in this case. Some clarifications on these categories would be helpful.

Hi Guys, I may need your help for little promo of old coin called SmartCoin (SMC). SMC is almost a year with us and doing quite fine (at least isn't delisted from cryptsy). We would like to bring fresh air to this coin and I know how BLK community can be strong and powerful. All of you do / did many good things that helped BLK to be in current position. Sorry for this spam but we're really looking some help with ideas to keep this coin alive. Link to official thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=675821.new#newThanks in advance for any help or suggestion. Mav!

Then its how maarx calculated it. Since BlackCoin has the same block size as Bitcoin, but produces 10 times as many blocks, you get a tps of around 70. And please define the "worsed case confirmation time" in more detail.

Yes, so in case you are using them most trade pair links/apis at the exchanges have been changed, in addition to the quoted ones BTC38 is the most notable one as almost all BLK volume is currently against FIAT (CNY), about 4 million BLK only today.

Chinese like BLK much more because of some symbolic meanings. And i would also say that BitCoin could be named BC as well if it wasn't already named BTC, so BLK is perfect.

I've just picked up this coin and I am aware of the symbol rebranding. My question is I'm getting BLK coins but they don't show in my wallet which only shows BC. Will the coins I'm getting appear when the wallet GUI is updated? I'm using the windows v1.1.2.35 wallet. Do the online wallets support the BLK symbol?

Its the same coin BC = BLK. Just BLK is now the official version. Its all cosmetic, not a different coin. The blockchain is the same. So if your not getting your coins then check that you are synced. Have you looked up the transaction on blockchain explorer? Personally i prefer BC to BLK but whatever
