The by far best method at the moment would be to download the bootstrap.dat (link: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/36xyma/blackcoin_bootstrapdat_up_to_blocks_697000/#header), it has the blocks up to 697000.
I think (not 100% sure) that rat4 will merge the sync improvements from the original satoshi qt client into BLK with one of the next versions.

I am no "Hero" as my title suggests. What I am is someone who has been riding the Blackcoin high and lows since its inception and have been watching it closely.

Been there right from the start hence my experience.

Who are you is the real question? Are one of the so called "Sirs" of Blackcoin. Do you even know what "Sirs" mean in relation to Blackcoin? Ask your mummy if you don't know the answer.
