It seems quite the opposite actually based on the user bases of both, more like most of the world has drunk the Kool-aid to me... but the resistance is strong and possibly strongest among crypto enthusiasts.  It's kind of ironic that many demand decentralized currency, code audits, open source initiatives, financial transparency, etc. or decry the systematic invasion of privacy at the hands of the NSA and other government agencies around the world. While at the same time, they eagerly trust detailed private data to persons of unknown identity at closed services who openly admit to believing they own that data and can do whatever they deem acceptable (or more accurately, profitable) with it.

That is incredible to see Evok3d. Obviously there isn't legitimate voting going, that will surely happen for people trying to legitimize illegitimate reasons. Vote 1 time is all you really need but people are exploitive. It is what makes us humans that in a sense in beautiful and different. However in most cases it isn't. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and giving back to the community as you have done. It is great to see hard work get recognised.

Rat4 is just an incredible person in general. Always helpful and really knows his blockchain PoS technology. It would be great to see SunnyKing get more votes as his implementation started a movement to get blockchain on better technologies than Bitcoin itself. Nobody has found that sweet spot yet, but that will come in time.

It is amazing to see community coming back to Blackcoin after they have seen so many coins come and fall. There is no other coin like Blackcoin that can sustain it's community such as us in the PoS community. That movement started here, with rat4 and his wonderful work.

I really appreciate that you took the time to write that. This is what i mean and enjoy, people just joining in and expressing the truth. The whole world - the ones that are asleep - will come to understand and appreciate such technologies soon enough, there is no worry there

My fear is regulators -only- recognising Bitcoin and not taking into the aspect of evolving technology in mine. People can vote, and in this sense vote with their money for services. It isn't just that though, people vote with the communities they stay with.

To be honest with you i too fear that. I would not be in this if it wasnt for the people i get to meet and communities i have witnessing forming where there was none before. I mean watching this entire system grow, evolve, expand and recruit has been one the most exciting events in my life. That is why i spend more time here than any other environment. Things just make sense here. There is a much greater picture than the currency. All we can do is try our best to show that to people. I like to think that Bitcoin is not a currency, its a mentality.

I wrote a thesis on why Facebook and such platforms - with consideration to their policies - are bad as a social media platform along with its negative effects on socialization - despite what people may think. The point is that i share that frame of mind and hope that I have come to understand the negative aspects of these platforms. The thing is, i use these platforms to reach and speak and hopefully inspire the people that exist in these channels though without revealing my personal life. To be honest i cannot wait for platforms such as Storj and Gems to be used to come up with a fully decentralized social/media platform - though that would not remove its negative effect on society but at the least will give us some peace of mind on the privacy and security aspect.

That's a great thesis topic.  My wife and I have often chuckled over some of those effects... like how the people we know that are the most active posters to (and checkers of) FB and Twitter... are also those with the most obviously dysfunctional social interactions in person.  I personally believe that, second only to 'reality TV' (or more accurately 'voyeur TV') they are responsible for a great deal of the breakdown of relationships in general for many, and perspective on life for all.

I agree that alternatives which value privacy over profits and actual communication over 'stat-whoring' (likes/friends/retweets) could be a great way to retain the benefits of these platforms while largely mitigating the risks.  I swear it's almost a daily occurrence that I read an article about someone that has lost a job or not gotten a job - simply because they weren't able to keep their dirty little secrets from becoming public-domain knowledge.

now here comes now low.the current price of BC equals the price of boostcoin in Aug.when the boostcoin's price hit this bottom,people should loudly saying the boostcoin has nothing in spite of its TOR.now the price is same.i barely know,why people curse boostcoin describing it as scam but blackcoin is not.people will take the market for blame.however,i still can see the potential of counterparty going rocket.so,i fall into confusion more.when people saying techniqeue has nothing to do with price but the XCP beat almost everyone in alt world.could please analyze more ?

Current shape of crypto is not user friendly but things are changing pretty fast from zero to hero...
In crypto is hard to predict anything some tigering events are very random too like BTC flaw in code eg.
few years ago or gox fail... those are problems and you wont never know when this big day comes here
i like creapto for freedom opportunity for people where all your moves are tracked when all your bank money are tracked and can be
taken/blocked out by government we have at least some tool to be "bit" free with crypto on internet.

About other coin like Blackcoin there was many of them many clones they failed mostly  because of no real developer and community around
price is good point and serious issuse but as far i know best working to to pump price is big red announce like "1st crypto with hidden mails" next week "1st crypto with stealth bets" "1st crypto for thiefs" more ridiculous more price jump...

At beginig of year i was thinking that LTC will lost market to NXT ... and pff NXT 4x lower than at its peak..
At end price is hard to predict all take risk when are investing in crypto for me personally even if price falls it is/was
some kind adventure i have paid price for investing in wrong coins like many here...
BTC was 1200$... LTC was 50+$ so all crypto have risk but more important for us is to lern how sen and use crypto not
worrying to much about price. With such low volume price jump 5x in 2 weeks is possible with new BTC bubble
but this is risk you can play that crypto game or not its your choice.

About XCP you know how many was such all beating coins before ?
I can remind you that coin suppose to forever rise was along with BC was NXT, BTSX, and much more
for me no matter what XCP will bring at some point it will end like most coins before anyway gl.
