Quitting an addictive vice is very hard, specially smoking. This takes time, progress and perseverance on quitting. Me personally, I needed a really good inspiration to quit, because everyone wants to quit anyways. In the progress of achieving it I entertain and put my attention away by managing my altcoin assets through Bitrus that has many tools that'll help you focus on it more.

You just need something to replace it or just take it easy,
First lessen your daily smoking then replace it with something like bubble gum or candy,
You could do it if you really want to quit.

There will be days when all you want to do is give in to your cravings. Don’t do it. Quitting will be the best thing you ever do for yourself, but you have to stick with your plan.

You can quit smoking if you really want it out of your life. Be a busy person and you will forget to smoke.
It will not easy for anyone who smoke regularly. Person always think to avoid smoking but they can't , it all about self believe

This is a long thread, I suppose, this is quite a common problem! Personally, I don't know about smoking, but I face a big love for sweet things. Maybe some advice will be helpful for me as well

I really don't understand why somebody can't quit smoking. It was so easy for me. I've read about several cases on Addiction Resource maybe they can help you.

I was once a cigarette addict, but had a coughing bloody pain from cigarettes and after that I stopped smoking.
If you have coughed up blood, I would advise you to visit a doctor as this is a very serious symptom

Congratulations that it became easy to you but we don't have the same attitude when regards to quitting smoke or any kind of addiction. For all that still struggles to quit smoking, look for another hobby. And don't think that visiting an expert to consult is expensive because it's your health that is at stake.

Most people can't quit smoking because in reality they don't really want to do it. So they are thinking about quitting because of they are spending a lot of money on cigarettes while hurting their health but in the same time they don't want to do it because they think it is cool and they have something to spare their time with.

Watch enough youtube videos about people who got lung cancer from smoking and it'll help you to quit that habit.

I thought about quitting a few times, but never really wanted to.

And here comes the morning when i don't have a bit of desire to smoke. I had a cigarette though, the second one, tried friend's iqos, but didn't enjoy it, my body was just "hey dude no more of this shit" and it's been like 2 or 3 month since that day. I don't physically want it, mentally too but i still like the smell of good tobacco and miss that morning mood

Get into the habit of sliding a hair up each cigarette you attempt to smoke, before you light the thing. If the hair is too flexible, make it a porcupine quill.

Cold turkey which is going to be a rough couple weeks but if you replace it with zero stimulants (cutting out all caffeine too) it'll be helpful

It's probably been said 100 times already over the span of these gazillion pages, however:

You have to truly want to! I think that's the main key. If you truly don't want to do something... well.

It's a shame because for those of us who have at least half a braincell; we are fully aware of the both the health implications, and also the social implications (on family and friends as a result of the health) which are a direct result of smoking - yet continue to do so due to the fact that the contents of non-organic tobacco (aka over-the-counter-cowboys-and-camels) is highly addictive.

I travelled to Turkey, and tried some organic tobacco, farm grown. 0 additives. Wow. This is not the contents of cigarettes! Different product completely.

Basil and Mint. Both green, both herbs. Same thing.

Whenever one intend to smoke it is good to spend those time with friends or can focus on something interesting. Apart from the same it is good to participate on Smoking Cessation anonymous programs through which people who came out of smoking share their experiences and making lives more successful.
