I started practicing cigarettes since I was 9 years old. Regular smoking starts from the age of 12. Now I am 26 years old, I'm trying hard to give up smoking, but can not do  not? Can someone give me some good advice to quit smoking?

I've seen here about a million threads about it. No need to post at once, much better to use the search. People who use the search has shining hair and healthy teeth join us.

If you don't decide that you do not need it anymore, then the magic pill won't help.

I agree to spend money to leave it. I've eaten many tablets, but there is no work. At the end I'm starting yoga, see if it does work or not? But I smoke less now than before.

My husband has been smoking since young age of 17.  By year 2013, he quited smoking like a snap just like that.  He just suddenly stop doing it until after a month, as he tried a stick to taste but he felt so dizzy and so bad.  Since then he never tried lighting a stick ever again up to this date.

Do you worry too much? If this is done, this habit should be omitted earlier. Does your friend smoke? ? If you do, then leave them ,

Do I have to stay awake for the night because I work online? Then I smoke cigarettes more. But I'm smoking much less than before ? If you have more advice then you can tell me

The day you decide to quit smoking, you'll stop on your own free will without anyone advising you how to. I say this because I know people who woke up one morning and quit smoking.

Quit it like the way you will quit any habit.. It's that simple.. You don't want it so quit it like you will quit any other thing.

my advice if you want to quit smoking is to reduce the number of cigarettes you normally use, when you want to smoke so eat something to keep your mouth busy with it and eat fruit to stay healthy

I think you can help yourself to quit smoking by eating other insignifiant food just as nuts or something that won'tgive you the feeling that your stomach is full. As your eating insignifiant food, you will graduadly forget that you need to smoke because your mouth will be oftently occupied by eating.  Smiley

You can quit smoking if you really want it out of your life. Be a busy person and you will forget to smoke.

I've been urged by my mom to read Allen Carr's Easyway to Quit Smoking after it helped my cousin quit.

I'm not through reading it, but I'd like to know if it has helped anyone quit. I would love to hear stories as I'm really struggling.

some uses alternatives first like e-cigs or vapes then slowly quit, my father tried exercising when he wants to smoke rather than giving in and such process worked for him

Wow, 9 years old? How did that even happen?

To quit, just do it. You will go through hell the first few days, but eventually your body will better tolerate not having the nicotine.

The hard part isn't quitting cigarettes.

The hard part is deciding to quit cigarettes.
