dual mining SIA is over for me and Decred is apparently the best alternative.

Be sure to factor power/fees into your equations about whether to dual mine, here at 18c power I was ok before the A3 arrived but now it's not profitable on any 2nd coin given that my RX580's can run up to 50w lower per card when just on ETH, if using claymore that drops the fee from 2% to 1% as well.

arent the fees 1% for ETH + 1% for SIA ? Which is still 1% total or does the miner raise the total fee to 2% ?

Nope it's 2% if you dual mine....

Quote from: Claymore
This miner is free-to-use, however, current developer fee is 1% for Ethereum-only mining mode (-mode 1) and 2% for dual mining mode (-mode 0), every hour the miner mines for 36 or 72 seconds for developer.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

There has to be a problem on miningpoolhub. I miner for 7 hours and only did .007 eth with 3 systems.
6 x 1070ti, 5 x 1080, 4 x rx 580 8g, all latest drivers and latest multipoolminer.  I was doing .08 per day two weeks ago and all last week shitty left for to days to nicehash and made ok money but I don't trust nicehash so I came back to see if the problem was fixed and still crap payout.  Is anyone else haven the same problem?

Got lower income today also, but seems bad luck period... And if compare with two weeks ago - difficulty have risen: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/ethereum-difficulty.html#3m

Wish we could get some more dual-mineable coins on MPH now that Sia is done.  Decred is next best option right now, but all of them would be nice, especially since Decred ASICs will be coming soon

Update your XVG wallet to the lastest version from the XVG developers.   They released a new wallet middle of last week.  You won't be able to receive payments until you update.

Nothing MPH can do about that - its an XVG issue.

Do I need to set Hub Worker's job if i use MPM? Also, there is blake-vanilla algo available to choose from the list of jobs, but on the homepage it isn't listed as supported algo.

Do I need use start.bat instead of Start-MiningPoolHub.bat, although I only want to mine with MPH?

Lordas  I moved both nvidia systems to nicehash and and system to nano pool and I'm only 100 bucks less than what I used to get on miningpoolhub. So I don't think the problem is on my end. .  I stopped mining mph for 3 days and updated everything and still poor rates for me. Guess I'm the unlucky guy.  Probably going to end up at zpool.

Hello! I have noticed a strange thing about my confirmed balance on ZCL pool. About an hour ago I had 0.036 ZCL confirmed, and difficulty at that time was something about 2,500,000 Then difficulty reduced to 1,500,000 and I found only 0.006 ZCL on my confirmed balance. I've inspected my transactions on pool for that period, but everything is fine there. How could it be? Does pool steal coins during the change of difficulty? Or there is something about it that I don't understand?

If I set ethash algo switch mining and my gpu has 2GB, is it possible to mine those coins which do not need more that 3GB or I can't setup it like that? Could someone show me algo switch mining example with claymore? Thanks!

I have been mining Eth+Sia using Claymore from last 12 hours but I dont see Sia Balance credit in balance page or Sia Wallet. I am not using AutoExchange for now.
Worker shows correct hashrate and an active worker ofcourse but no balance credit. In the past, I didnt have this issue. Is there any bug hit recently?

dual mining SIA is over for me and Decred is apparently the best alternative.

For now... there is a Decred ASIC due out in June that is claiming 1500GH @ 500W... I'm still waiting/hoping MPH starts supporting the A3 for sia and bring the pool back to life

Hi,

Just have a quick query on Electroneum. Is it possible to transfer directly to Cryptopia from mining pool hub. I have the cryptopia address and payment id. Or do i need to send first to electroneum wallet and then transfer from there to cryptopia. In cryptopia is written that they don't accept payment from mining pools. Has any tried direct transfer route from mining pool hub with success?

Cheers

Ari

Hi,

I'm confused about Pools in general and Mining Hub Pool too.

First I started using Nicehash with the Equihash algo. I have a GTX 10603GB
At the beginning was running at           +/- 270.0 Sol/s
A little overclocking pushed me to        +/- 290.0 Sol/s  -  At this level I get around US$ 2.5 / D
Using other miners (2% dev fee) I get  +/- 320.0 Sol/s  - At this level I SHOULD get around US$ 2.8 / D
But here is where it starts to get funny.

With NiceHash I kind of get hold of those stats and they make sense. But NiceHash has big commissions for everything.
3% pool fee, 2% transfer fee if you use internal wallet and if you don't use it it's even worse.
So a total of 5% in fees.

So I've been looking for other pools to maximise profits and here things get funny if not ridiculous.
I had expected the same performance BUT with a gain in commissions as my hardware is the same, the algo is the same, the miner is the same and the output in Sol/s is the same.

So I picked the highest rewarded coin for my hardware in MiningPoolHub and in 12h without errors and with a steady speed of 320 Sol/s I mined BitcoinGold and and then ZClassic with the projected earning per D of US$ 0.8. Do I miss anything?
The coins where showing a "Norm. Profit" of around 0.4200. What does it mean? Profit per..?

These discrepancies tend to happen in other pools too.

Maybe MPH should now add Lbry coin and Decred coin to cover sia coin rising difficulty
Maybe also it is time to adapt newer exchanges if it is needed

Under "Status: Running" in cmd prompt, you can see which algo is running, and which port, so you can see the coin for that port on MPH main page.
