The Litecoin price is up another 10% in the past 24 hours. The average LTC to USD rate at the time of writing was $338.64. The LTC to BTC rate also edged up by 9.42% to $0.01919.The majority of the trades are flowing in from the U.S. exchange GDAX, where LTC prices are hovering over $338.00. The trade volume for Litecoin on GDAX is beating Bitcoin and Ethereum. South Korean exchange Bithumb is pulling in the second-highest trade volume, followed by Bitfinex.

litecoin price is going up very fast and yes in 24hours litecoin price up more then 10%
could litecoin beat eth coin? i think if litecoin will go up like this then in a month lite coin price will be more the eth
lite coin price is more then 350$ with that huge supply
and the price maybe go up to 1000$ in 2018 summer

Wow it's amazing that Litecoin added another U.S.$6 Billion dollars overnight when its whole market cap was 3.3 Billion just back in July - now its $23.3 billion!

LITECOIN was 1/17th the size of Bitcoin yesterday, its 1/16th the size today!

It's also made the news that Iota's 'partnership' with microsoft was not an official one in case you're wondering why Iota's rally is dropping off a cliff. Glad I've traded all mine now.

Yes a slight retreat is always normal after a big gain -

The new floor is US$300 watch for gains from here & a new floor higher up coming before you know it - trading in & out is a rookie mistake that just makes the exchanges richer - I'm holding all my Litecoin as my main safe hold (ie 80%) and just trade the alts with my other 20% and then bank the gains back into Litecoin after they rise or before I sleep - changing massive swathes of your coins daily will eat away profits.

Be calm, the gains on Litecoin this week alone would take your savings decades in the bank and there is clearly more to come.

My guess based on charting the daily December prices to date is $700 before 2018 but I'd be happy with any gains - its already been great!

It will continue higher throughout 2018 and beyond, with small dips along the way.
The crypto world knows what is going on, no longer in the dark as to what coin is superior.

LTC to at least $8000 in 2018.

If you only read the headlines it sounds like truth  however this enthusiasm  will get dampened by the first damp in 2018.

The market cap was US $244 billion when I started investing 6 weeks ago - it's taken years to get there but only those 6 weeks to more than double to half a trillion dollars (hit that this week).

The in pouring of investment is phenomenal but stil only a 20th of the dotcom investments in the 90s, I think we could easily see 2-3 trillion market cap for the whole industry within a year which makes every coin worth a lot more & the quality ones an order of magnitude higher - specially the ones with a limited issue like Litecoin (84 mill) & not billions or a billion like Ripple.

The current price is excellent Litecoin buying in my opinion - its swung as low as its been for days and bound to snap back shortly as the next set of markets open.

As for bubbles hahahaha - the banks have been desperately trying to tell anyone who will listen that bitcoin was a bubble since it was $200.
Now those same banks are scrambling to join the crypto revolution - in fact Swiss banking giant UBS, along with other banking industry heavyweights, are planning to use blockchain as a means of complying with new regulations scheduled to go live in the EU on Jan. 3.
