LTC has held on to the critical support level of $180. However, the bounce doesn’t have any strength, which shows a lack of interest in buyers.
If the bears succeed in breaking down the supports, a fall to $140.001 is likely.
On the other hand, the first signs of a recovery will be on a breakout above $215 levels.
Aggressive traders can buy the LTC/USD pair at $187, which is just above the high of past couple of days.
The stop loss for the trade can be kept at $163 and the target objective is $215.
However, this is a very risky trade, hence, please place it only with less than 50% of the usual allocation.

Typically don't those end in a uptrend? I think that LTC is getting a lot more attention from those loyal to it.

Here is my analogy of what could happen. We could be stuck in a rut where prices could be stagnant for some time. Look at past history back in 2014 and it lasted for well over 2 years. All the cc that have been there for some time and well established will be linked to bitcoin. People talk about a breakout just for Litecoin because of its uniqueness but it isn’t breaking out just for its uniqueness. Only some of the small cc’s that you never really here about and the token ones break out because of there still in infancy mode. Litecoin is here to stay and is deeply rooted but for it to be successful according to Charlie lee we need price stability. This could last well over a year. But either way I’m still in. And on that note, stock market is doing well so I’m going to focus a little more on that as I’m sure others are as well.

Let us hope more people take a leaf out of Eleesa Dadiani's book, it can only be good news for Litecoin.

Her most recent deal facilitated the £4m sale of a fleet of racing cars using Litecoin.

I myself would be willing to accept some of my favorite cryptocurrencies as mode of payment. Litecoin is fast with lesser fees so it should be a very good option. Right now I am still analyzing if it could be good long term as volatility is a serious issue considering I will be paying tax regularly.

More and more positive signals are coming out in favor of LTC which is very good sign to be bullish on this on midterm to long term. I also have read and keep studying those reports and updates appearing on social media which are quite interesting and helpful to understand the future trends.

why did the founder of ltc dump his shares and does that not look bad on the company?

This is the kind of news I don't really want to hear like someone dumping all his coins and he is the developer of it. Does anybody even know who is the founder of LTC and why are we hearing this kind of news? To create FUD?

Are you really sure what are talking about and who is Charlie Lee the famous person into this project. He is founder of this coin maybe your are confused by his twitter name SatoshiLite.

Charlie did not dump Litecoin, he is very active on social media platforms, as Twitter, Linkedin and others, and he is still engaged in Litecoin!

What is in queue for the Litecoin next, what different changes / improvements are coming?
Funnily, on the website I could not find anything on this subject, but could read at the end of the main page: "Copyright © 2011-2016 Litecoin Project. All rights reserved."  Roll Eyes

Really? I follow Charlie Lee on twitter and recently he posted something that Litecoin and Monero are the two legit crypto currencies. I guess this turned out to be the rumour beginning. Are there any other posts?

I use this coin to make quick payments. It is very convenient and a small commission. But I do not consider this coin for a long investment.

Charlie Lee with every day make more hints that the probability of introduction of atomic swaps of Litecoin in pair with a Monero is great. Here's what he wrote in his Twitter:

"Although @fluffypony was kidding here, I think it would be good for Litecoin and Monero (2 of the top non-scam coins 😄) to work together. A while back, I proposed to him that we work on making it easy for people to do on-chain atomic swaps of LTC and XMR in a decentralized way.

I believe this to be a win-win as it makes LTC/XMR interoperable: it gives XMR users access to LTC's liquidity (LTC is on close to all exchanges) and gives LTC users easy access to anonymity and fungibility of Monero.

Of course, it will take some work for atomic swaps to work properly on Monero and it's up to Monero devs and community to decide if this is a good idea.

If this happens, I think it's going to be huge, but no longer an unexpected surprise. 😛
"

And I think everyone will agree that the crypto-community will support this! Thanks to Charlie Lee Litecoin may become the most advanced and popular coin.
