2000 is a great amount of money, so first of all you must diversify your portfolio, for example put 30% in Ether, 30% in Bitcoin and other sum you can invest in some alt from top 100.
For me 2000$ is not a big deal. Anyway, with 2000$, we should invest wisely, investing in 3-5 altcoins will help us be much safer. And altcoin I always choose is ETH, XLM, NEO and ADA |

my advice, it's better to invest $ 1,000 for several altcoins. like ETH, Ripple, and others. and you invest another $ 1000 for Bitcoin. that's my opinion, if I have capital like you, I will do it |

Now $2000 means 20 Ethereum. This is enough amount of money to invest with top coin. You have to increase your money to new ICO.
I will not use all of the capital just to invest in 1 coin eventhough its top coin, and I will not use all of the money to invest only Fund backup is also important dude, and diversify is also very important to reduce risk, make you sure you make all that |

If I were to invest such amount I'd invest 50% in Bitcoin, then I will pick between Ethereum, Ripple, and Lumen with the remaining 50%.

I'm not an investor for the big altcoins. I only invest in the altcoin being developed and available investment funds. I think you should keep your $ 500 to invest in growing tokens like Banano. It is a coin meme, similar to DOGE. It's actually quite potential and this is a good opportunity to value your x3000 property. |

the point in making an investment is to buy when the price drops because with prices going down you will get a cheap purchase price and you can get a big profit when the price rises. in investment, you also have to be patient. and I recommend 50% for Ethereum and 50% for Bitcoin. |

good things when selecting a coin on top of the rankings as you choose to invest. some coins that have a potential top-ranking is good enough even for long periods of time. to enter in the ICO will probably be a little bit risky because the current course ICO nothing can be said to be promising as the times before.

In this bear market $2000 is enough to invest in the crypto coin. So, choose wisely the coins that are prominent in the market and follow the cycle of the market. I agree if you invest your coins in several Altcoins. ETH? maybe a good choice. now the price is <100 $, you can buy many. I heard that there will be a renewal for ETH in 2019, hopefully it will be your luck.
