i can post one , is the make file for level db in there ?

i finally got github to accept it after someone else thankfully did a git pull

are you getting this error when you go to make the wallet itself ?

i mean where you type

sudo make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=1

is there a linux QT wallet? i tried compiling it but get the error "No rule to make target `build_config.mk'."

Nothing changed in source code but I built this wallet with upnp enabled so you will get more connections

I realize some prefer not to use this type of wallet for security reasons

Working well for me though

My wallets seem to be stuck at block 32805. 4 connections. The block explorer also seems stuck at this block?

Code:
32806	2014-05-05 09:53:40
32805 2014-05-05 06:44:30

I mined block 32806, finally...but something appears off given these timestamps.

We are looking into why this block took 3 hours to solve
The main nodes of the network all show similar info as does the block crawler

Thank you for support & mining !!

In the example photon.conf given in the first post port is set to 34556. This does not seem to be the port the latest client uses as default, 35556. Because of this addnode was failing for me when trying to add new nodes when those nodes were using the 34556 port setting in photon.conf.

Sorry about that Ignatius..... corrected op......   blockchain seems to be moving ok.....    thanks for your sharp eye in pointing this out ...

In the example photon.conf given in the first post port is set to 34556. This does not seem to be the port the latest client uses as default, 35556. Because of this addnode was failing for me when trying to add new nodes when those nodes were using the 34556 port setting in photon.conf.

Join me in the New York merged mining pool tonight as we mine Blake Coin and Photon ----- AT THE SAME TIME !!! -----

Other coins are in development (not by me ) and will be joining the Blake 256 family in the near future which will bring more speed and security to the blockchain.

Some coins which were in development appear to be stalled although other developers have contacted me about joining the project.

Keep in mind , Bluedragon747 the Blake Coin developer is really the person you would want to contact if you wanted to get involved.

After much tinkering, I managed to get photon-qt to compile for linux. The issue was that the qt .pro file was configured for windows build. By removing the libboost-suffix (it was appending mingw to the libboost version names) and making sure my build dependencies were correct, the compile completed. I built this on 64bit Linux Mint 16, however it should work on many other Linux distributions. I've only tested this on my computer so let me know if it doesn't work on other computers. Here is the link for anyone else who wants it:

The op has been updated with information on the merged mining pools where you can mine 3 coins at the same time ===== 3X HASH POWER !!

B+  OR BLAKE BITCOIN IS NOW AVAILABLE HERE https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=606037.msg6687021

MORE COINS ARE PLANNED TO MERGE MINE WITH THE BLAKE 256 FAMILY ------

HOW DOES MERGED MINING WORK ?  https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/273/how-does-merged-mining-work

MORE INFO ON THE BLAKE 256 FAMILY AND UPCOMING COINS THAT WILL JOIN AND BE MERGE MINED ALSO

http://blakecoin.org/merged-mining/

NOTE THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE FOR THESE COINS --- THE ARE BEING WORKED ON BY DIFFERENT DEVELOPERS -----

MANY DEVELOPERS WILL BE WORKING TO UNITE EFFORTS TO HAVE A STRONG FAST BLOCKCHAIN --- A REAL ALTERNATIVE TO THE OTHERS -----

THE BLAKE COIN NETWORK HAS BEEN AVERAGING OVER 500 GIGA HASH /SECOND AND IT IS JUST WARMING UP !!

Glad you like the network.........

Photon was designed with a large block award on purpose , and a large number of coins with no reduction in the block award.

6 months, a year , 5 years from now people who want to join will not be in a position where they can only mine minute amounts of the coin.

Right now if you want some Photon and cannot mine for lack of hash power or any other reason buy some at Atomic

https://www.atomic-trade.com/

Photon is not expensive and is also on sale at AllCrypt

https://www.allcrypt.com/market

Both Blake Coin and Photon were both designed not to enrich developers or allow unfair advantages to anyone -- niether coin was premined.

Merged mining is now working and new pools are planned to be added in a few days......also some people are running 'private' pools on the network.  With the addition of the third coin in the family B+ we have grown even more and other coins are planned so the network hash rate shall continue to grow stronger.

I know that thousands of people downloaded the Photon Windows Wallet in just the first few weeks of it's release so compared to other projects going on that says a lot on it's own.

I do not control a few hundred fake accounts in the forum to keep bumping the thread and I am not about fake hype.

If a project is solid , honest, and designed well , it may take a while but the word tends to get around.

Based on the number and types of unsuccessful attacks against the coin network(s) and merged pools I can see people are paying attention.

Note , i am unable to log into bluedragons merged pools at the moment I believe they are under ddos,

Someone is mining however since Photons blockchain is moving fast with difficulty slightly rising last adjustment to "difficulty" : 20997.65212035,-------------

EDIT --  POOL WAS UNDER DDOS FOR SHORT TIME ,

HASH RATE OF BLAKE COIN AND PHOTON CONTINUES TO GROW,

PHOTON JUST UNDER 500 GHS,  BLAKE COIN ALMOST 750 GHS ----

WOW , "difficulty" : 32125.10572730   ---  Not many people active on Blake Coin and Photon threads in the forum last few days but obviously people are active on the netwowrk.

Developer is tweeting 80's youtube videos on Twitter whole day today. :-) I'm asking here because I know all 3 existing Blake coins are aware of Dirac and are also aware that this should bring lot of new miners and thus increased hashrate for all blake coins if I understand merged mining correctly.
