Why everyone only invest in the crypto market?

With a long-term investment strategy, all of the investor must do is select a few cryptocurrencies, then wait. So right now investors have a good deal of options when it has to do with cryptocurrencies. There are a lot of late-stage investors ready to fund pre-IPO businesses.

Investing in cryptocurrency is an extremely speculative market and isn't regarded to be a safe investment. It could be a good investment. It can be a wise move.

  This is the trend in the market today, crypto currency is all over the news, be it on social media or broadcast media, its a global phenomenon the entry of the crypto currency into the mainstream market today. it create a shift of investment from old traditional solid stocks investment to crypto digital investment.

I am talking to quite a few people who are investing in crypto and notice that very few have a broader investment spectrum. People either focus on ICOs, some small caps, others play it safe and stick with the high caps or established projects.

But hold on, is the later really playing save? In my view, even with high caps you will still be massively exposed as you have all of your eggs in one basket. Namely in the same market. Different eggs in size and colour but all eggs. If the basket falls, your eggs still get crushed.

As mentioned before, I am trading stocks for over a decade and crypto since last year. I also agree that is easier to trade stocks, simply because the volume is so high that a few whales or big investors cannot influence the market as easily by dumping their shares. The stock market is also much more regulated, if someone is being caught doing washtrading or spoofing the consequences are dramatic. In the crypto world manipulation is something that poses a constant threat. Just look at the market now, the recent dip is not tight to any event, news or even fud. 25 billion just disappeared and people are wondering wht‘s going on.

Long story short, it‘s great you have a diversification plan but also think about moving assets from crypto to fiat, stocks or raw materials and precious metals.

What is your view on that?

There's not only one reason why people only invest in bitcoin. There's many reason highly profit, low tax, instant transaction, world wide use.

 I've heard a story about guy who make $11,000 per day trading on the forex stock market, it is much better than I do with my cryptocurrencies so that statement can not be a logical and true that everybody thinking that crypto is good.

Crypto market is not actually safe to invest because the price is volatile but it was more profitable than banks since the increase of scale of your money being placed in banks are just low while crypto market can sky rocket anytime depending on the demand.

I agree with you in diversifying your portfolio. It is a great strategy in investing, you should know how to diversify your portfolio. I am not talking about, Bitcoin and alt coins, it should be on a different platform other than crypto currency like stock market, real estate even precious metals. In this time and age when we don't really know what will happen next, it is always safe to mitigate your risks and be ready for whatever it is that will happen.

In my views, I believe that for some people would like to invest in crypto market because they find it more interesting and fast phasing with respect to the current market movement. In the case where there is bullish market, the increase were also high which could result to a high return of investment.

First of all this is a crypto currency forum so people from here will more involved in the crypto currency investments than any other investments like trading,real estate and gold.And there are different kind of investors in the crypto investment as well like short term and long term investor and traders.Id someone looking to earn profits in short term then they will go with ICOs and cheap coins and the people who want money in long term then they will go with bitcoin and other well know coins.

As some others have already said, everyone should diversify their portfolio, but sometimes people think that trading cryptos is a quick rich scheme...
This was maybe true in 2017, this year it is a bit more difficult to really gain profit.
I would only invest money in cryptos that you are willing to loose.

Because it is so easy to invest in crypto anyone can do it and a lot of people
do indeed think there are riches to be made quickly.

I dont care about the stock markets. I am in crypto for 2 reasons, for what
it was created for as a payment system (still to gain more useage) and as
a vehicle other than a bank to keep some savings for the future.

Stock markets are difficult for a lot of people to access and there are commission
fees to be paid and capital gains taxes to be paid because stocks cannot be used
for anything else so they have to be bought or sold.

Gold and Silver for example are worth considering as an addition.

Sooner or later tax will be imposed by the government for cryptocurrency users. Investing in cryptocurrency will become mainstreams in the next few years. The popularity of cryptocurrency pads in 2017 will be the beginning for the common people to know what cryptocurrency is, and I'm sure they come here to invest in and after that they will use cryptocurrency as a place for easy payment or remittance, the concept will be a plus for cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is a great source of income and for your future purpose we can use them for long term without any worries.Its work more better than any banks.I know there's some disadvantages to but we have to ignore them and focus on crypto currencies.

As they invest, they realize that cryptos are worth spending in, because they have a stable future, and they are not subject to bank and state management.

Every balanced portfolio should have a lower percentage of investments into high risk commodities like Crypto currencies and a larger percentage of investments into low risk investments or commodities and property.

If you are going to add more "eggs" into your high risk investments, then you will increase the overall risk. High risk investments tends to give higher yield, but it is not guaranteed.

Diversification is good, but you should spread it out over more low risk investments.

I do not , I diversify and invest in many things, well at least back when I had any money to invest, now I just watch my investments and not put any further in. I have stocks from too many different companies, I have bonds, I have gold, I have foreign currencies to my country.

I basically do all I can do actually have a diversified portfolio and yes of course crypto is a huge part of it, actually biggest investment I have, hence it does get affected horribly when these bear markets hits however I still am doing well thanks to other investments, I am down a lot but still not down as much as I could have been if I invested only on crypto.

It is true that not everyone will agree with this opinion but this is the universal truth that most of the people investing in any single investment class never make much profit (especially in the short term). Diversification is the key to spread the risk across multiple investment classes so that the situation won't change overnight if there is some issue with any particular sector where the money is invested. I believe that one should always diversify his investment across multiple classes (not just the sectors) unless he has 100% loss-bearing capacity.

I think people are drawn to the cryptocurrency market since it's the current growing
trend. A popular and successful one if I may add. A lot of people have profit from it and
it's worth the time, money and effort. It's accessible and easy to get into, there is so
much potential and it's open for everyone.

Probably because they have received a lot of profit from cryptocurrency, they understand completely about cryptocurrency, so they are confident to invest in it. They do not want to invest in something they don't know (stocks, ...). And sometimes I think investing in crypto is easier than investing in stocks.

You got that one mate.about the taxation since this community requires no taxes thats why many are investing here.and another thing is the privilege of having control of our own money that theres no third party interference,by this we can feel more secure and free .so don't be amaze of  everyone is investing only in cryptocurrency
