Diversification can save your capital. I think every investor should use this strategy. This is a very important time when the market is falling.

If you can handle going broke you can also go all in on one thing, but it's not really a sound strategy.

I think that many users of cryptocurrency went all in at the end of 2017, when in order to invest profitably in cryptocurrency they sold real estate and took loans. This misstep brought them some losses.

If they have been in the market they went broke even if within this market they diversified their portfolio. Bitcoin lost over 80%, too.

I definitely use diversification and I advise people to use it too because there it is suicidal putting all your eggs in one basket, but in your case I would advise you to research the project to know if it is a project that can moon really well (I.e. give you like X200), then I would advise you too sell half and invest in other altcoin with possibilities of mooning too, tend you HODL the rest but if it can't moon sell all and buy different altcoins.

If they use diversification they will loss even more because altcoins are affected big time by the bear, if they convert their coins into BTC, they would loss at the current price but would only loss lower compared to altcoins assets. Depends on the amounts you have available and if you are playing around with small sums and you can bear the risk, it might also be worth it to take the risk and stay in crypto.

Yes, that is true by diversifying, of course the investment you have will be safer, of course it is important to do it so that you do not experience a lot of risk of loss and you will still get maximum results from what you have invested

Well, last year deversification especially and would not help in this market, I think the bear market is better to be generally out of the market than in any transaction ! and so of course it is better to deversify when the market starts to grow !

Well, last year deversification especially and would not help in this market, I think the bear market is better to be generally out of the market than in any transaction ! and so of course it is better to deversify when the market starts to grow !

Not only when there is a market increase, always diversifying your portfolio reduces your risk. There is no difference in the amount of money, more diversification means less risk. Indeed, you can complete with less damage in bearish with diversification.

That's why I choose to make sure that it won't get scammed in any projects that I will participate, so I made another wallet to diversify some of my new invested currency.

Yes. I use diversification. But I also think that if you keep a lot of coins in your briefcase, that is not good. I think that there should be no more than 5 or 10 coins in portfolio.

You are not right. Some altcoins can grow much stronger than others. You do not know in advance what kind of altcoins they will be. For example, a BNB token. While all altcoins were getting cheaper all of 2018, the BNB showed good growth.

I invest in different kind of coins since I use a multiasset wallet. Diversifying will help me lessen the lost and gain better profit since I'll not be missing any sudden pump a coin could offer. But knowing that Bitcoin is the most established coin, I allocate greater volume of my investment on it. The only thing to consider when diversifying is securing your funds in a safe place since you'll be holding it in longer term.
