"Social media giant Facebook has unveiled a new policy that bans advertisements involving bitcoin and initial coin offerings, among others..."

I think this is the old news. It was because many fraud ICOs were running at that time, so social media like facebook banned the ads.
Not only facebook, twitter was banned ICO ads too. But now, i heard about facebook lifted the ban, allowing the crypto ads again.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I thunk it is not Facebook's fault at all. I think it is because of the government where facebook lives that inhibits such act. They have been interrogating Zuckerberg's wealth due to different ads they are welcoming.

I think facebooks reason is related to the fear of fraudulent  activities. People really use the Facebook platform to create ads that ain't real. Making the public visiting and seeing nothing. Most ads these days can even penetrate your sever and do more harm. And most people would put facebook as cause. And speaking of ads I mean bitcoin ads. Sometimes s of this ads can actually dupe u uh.

There are many reasons, according to me, that some people use facebook to do bad things as Bitcoin and appear to be rampant on facebook. Besides there are rights and influence related to politics through facebook and country using Bitcoin and facebook. This also limits Bitcoin's communications significantly.
