I believe in ratings from an ICO site, but I rate that assessment is subjectif, meaning that each person or every site will have a different assessment, meaning that the assessment cannot guarantee the project is successful or not, just as an opinion or recommendation only, so we who want to participate in an ICO must have their own judgment as well.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

ICO rating sites offers help in a lot of ways as regards how yo analyze ICO projects and offers also in depth into the points to make note of. This is very good but not all the ratings can be trusted fully and sometimes there is an element of favoritism and this may sometimes lead to people becoming mislead.

But generally I trust ICO ratings to some extent and then do my due diligence.

I think some people use ico rating to find out the ico is good or bad, I'm also included. But when I found ico and immediately looked at the ico rating and it was good, I didn't immediately believe it and I immediately saw it from the manager and the allocation that was given as well.

No not reall, not all the time. Yes they are helpful and they serve as a guide in choosing the right ICO but still you need your own research about the project and your personal skills and good decision making in choosing the best possible ICO. Sometimes the ICO rating sites are inaccurate and outdated.

Not at all, they are easy to manipulate and as so many people have pointed out, they can easily just pay off the people who run the sites to give their projkects good rating. When it comes down to it, the only opinion that should matter when you are investing your money is the one you have made yourself after you have done a great deal of researching into the coin.

Not too sure about the appraisal site. the value for the ico project can be manipulated. I think investors are smart enough to choose a good and successful ico project in the future.

I trust to experts that I know face to face only, sites are not reliable for me and their ratings usually are not true especially it is dangerous when you are going to sell.

There is no point in trusting ratings, keeping track of ratings and taking them into account in the future. All this is either a company PR or marketing, and this does not give any guarantees to the project and investors.

ICO reviews are also some kind of marketing sites, that is why you should shy away from them. They are getting paid for the rating that they give away and also to let the token advertise on their site.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

not 100% trust just for reference

For me , I don't believe 100% with ICO  rating sites because they can use money to do that . I also found some good ICOs but those sites didn't rank them  high  .  You shouldn't  trust 100% of those sites   .

I agree, the sites are made in order for you to carry your money. Therefore, never trust them more than yourself. You can use them to analyze the project, but not to make a decision.

I use them, but not for the purposes of project evaluation, because they have very useful information about KYC developers passing the project, as well as about the total amount collected, it seems to me that this is useful information

I only trust a little, they can buy rating to fomo. Anyway, they are also a tool to find and select good and potential projects along with other tools.

Yes the fact you told is very true. The bigger the Ico Rating website is , I think bigger is their price. You can take a look about some top and most trusted Ico Rating Websites but not all . But one should not fully depend on them , always have to do a own research no matter how positive & negative the rating is from Ico Rating Websites. This is also very similar to Youtube Review , where popular youtubers demand huge money for project review.

No obviously not. It's been shown many times that they just get paid to put good ratings. I only use them to get a rough idea, if they give something a bad rating then it's worth looking into.

I think that is an offer, because many projects with ICO basis that are running well and good social media ranking is not necessarily a guarantee to be seen when investing in ICO, depending on whether the project is successful or not with the final result.
