NO, not at all. But if you can find some confluence between a lot of them then that's a good reason to look further into a project

I believe in the ICO rating because we can see how much is supporting and people investing in it. maybe not only is it, monitor and always looking for the latest information from the project that you want to follow is also needed.

ICO rating can be an option for investment, but we also need to look at it from various sides in making a decision when going to invest such as the development team, bounty manager. A good ICO rating does not necessarily mark the project well because it could be a fraud

For me it's the first option for referral in finding legitimate ICO projects, we need to do to our own research or strategy on how to find credible and legitimate projects.

I don't know, the whole system seems kind of shady, after all, an ICO could pay the manager of the website, and the whole thing could turn into a promotion for the ICO that paid, it is definitely possible

Well I for one don't really trust those sites, they can be good sometimes and the next thing they do so badly. some other time they are paid off by icos to get huge rating scores. It's your choice to do proper research on a good project

My answer is yes, it is the good tool for every investor to identify good ICO. You can also track complete previous record of any ICO listed company and campair with another listed company also.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Well they are making the ratings of all the ICO with a criteria , so we rely on them but you come up with a story about the payments of your friend without showing any proofs of evidence .To tell frankly  I will not believed .

I came to know that they can be paid to give positive ratings. Which totally defeats the purpose. What we can do is check the community's opinion about the project, read their whitepaper, look up on the team.

I can definitely tell that the majority of them are being paid to promote certain projects, even after that, they are good for finding okay projects to get into.

Yes, the ICO rating site can be a reference for knowing the details of a new project. However, I did not make the ICO rating site the main reference in determining investment.

they are like rating organizations moody's s&p fitch, who prices the whole thing, and interest charge of a few vital Banks rely upon them.
rating groups in crypto a number of them do now not be given finances and put rating primarily based on their script, what they assume is the maximum essential. a number of them definitely, like you may pay and get an amazing score. The pleasant analysis is what you do, the  ones you should just use as a reference resources that's it.

There are many things to consider if you want to buy a good ICO, ico rating is not just enough. Some of the things you need to consider are as follows: The team hadling a project is also important as weather to invest in a project or not, does the team have idea on what they are doing, the team experience matters a lot. The roadmap is one of the thing to consider, the website, the project prototype is also important. All of this can be ised to rate ICO, though, you need to rate ico yourself to know whether to invest or not that waiting for any site to rate for you.

I can't fully trust them. I think if an ICO project is really good so it no need to be promoted on these websites it still can reach to hardcap.

I think the ICO rating cannot affect investors to join a project, investors are more observant and careful in investing. ICO ratings don't all work well but many make it less satisfied in their performance. Paying is not a good start, sometimes it becomes disastrous for the next.

These days, I don't trust rating sites because most ratings are purchased from the review sites which can really mislead newbies. This why I always advise people to do personal research on any project before investing into it.

Perhaps the site rating like that for me was the last consideration. This is because that kind of rating sites did not provide positive results because it is always not in accordance with the facts and reality. sometimes even the scam continues to have good value and this means indicates they do not look entirely and only from the outside only.
