I was getting a lot of rejects mining on Skein - any reason why? I was using the correct miner, correct algo (--skein), clocked at 1048 MHz on a R9 280x card with TC 8192 and intensity 13... can't understand what's wrong! I was also getting very high temps, higher than scrypt

174    Myriadcoin    ?    ?    ? MYR    ?    ?

Coinmarketcap.com listing dropped to bottom.

This means there is a problem with the block explorer that they are using for listing. Going to lose some coin value today because of that.
You will need redundant hosting for your explorer if you want to move forward Smiley

Coin has huge potential but to have your coinmarket cap listing get the dreaded question marks - not so great Tongue

I've just tryed mining groestl and I get only 7Mh/s with my 280x

Code:
"kernel" : "myriadcoin-groestl",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",
"expiry" : "5",
"scan-time" : "2",
"query" : "0",
"intensity" : "19",
"worksize" : "64",
"gpu-threads" : "2"
}
I should get more I think

export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=200
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

-I 19 -g 2 -w 64 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1000 --thread-concurrency 8192 --no-submit-stale

enjoy turbo MH

What settings do you suggest for a 290?

42MH @ 700kwh across 2 rigs. Both hooked up to the same meter. Idle, both rigs combined run about 300kwh.

On skein they get about 825MH @ 1040kwh, and scrypt is 2.8MH @ 1400kwh.

External fan 50W , 550-50

So 35 mh/s for 500W looks ok ? Smiley

I think that more important than just changing one algorithm as a temporary measure, is to establish a procedure where algorithms can be changed in the future, so that the balance can be maintained in the long term.

Either with a vote or something similar, but the rules of this procedure should be clearly documented.

Good point.

Open question: Say another algo is added (Scrypt-N). Now the pie is sliced 6 ways instead of 5, which means less coins per slice right? This may sound negative, but this is not unlike the network hashrate simply increasing?

Myriadcoin - the first multi-PoW blockchain! (Mine with SHA256 [ASICs], Scrypt [GPU/ASICs], Skein [GPUs], Groestl [GPUs], OR Qubit [CPUs/GPUs]).

Which algo is most profitable for GPUs? Anybody using here HD7970 or R9 280X? How many coins did you generate per day by mining with other skein or Groestl?

Sorry if this has already been answered (or even if this is a basic fundamental of cryptos in general) but when a block gets found in a particular pool, e.g. skein, does the block get shared between the miners of that pool only or between all the miners in all the pools?
