On stablehash Groestl, someone take 99% of all rewards, sending thousands shares while other send dozens.. Look at the invalide rate too..

I don't think this guy find any block too, but in anonymous, we can verify..

There is some exploit out there..

Cha. Just like hrt said about his 4770 and 300Mh/s on skein:
Quote
This week on the Darkcoin thread a fellow started posting screenshots of massive hashrates (400+MH/sec) using just a 4770k(Don't remember the exact model#) CPU.

So this is a bug!..  Angry

Ahmed bodi is aware of the bug and has most likely fixed the issue in his groestl stratum, when it will be released there wont be any problem with it.

would explain the sudden drop in price, that hrt guy was also exploiting on various MYR pools it seems, he probably just dumped his reapings

edit: at one point he was also pumping myr...quite obvious he wanted to sell

Payouts from https://myrsk.nut2pools.com/ started rolling in again, phew...

Guess it was to investigate something about if the exploit were affecting skein to or something (just guessing, havent talked to nutnut).
That beeing said, my miners kept mining, and when the pool funds were open again i got an larger payout containing all the "locked" coins.

So everything seems to be running smooth again, and most importantly, not a second of mining lost  Grin

We are looking into the stratum exploit right now. Banning his account and locking payouts temporarily.

Yeah thet could have asked, this is not the coins fault, this is due to improvised stratum installations and ahmed tested for this bug a few days ago that's why I'm aware of it. Everyone should go solo on groestl until cryptopools opens their pool or you risk mining nothing.

Edit: or wait until stablehash patches theirs.
Doge talk to ahmed, from what I understand the issue is due to a miner that has hardcoded a very low diff and ignores stratum diff and although it doesnt get any blocks it sends a shitload of valid shares either ddosing stratum or gettin 99% of the payout.

anyone know what is up with nut2pools skein pool? stopped getting shares and the site says We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP. which generally means I am getting screwed.

Same here, what's up with that??

No, It generally means the crons hung. That's an automated message generated by MPOS. We're not in the habit of screwing our miners. Wink

As per the message, your shares and hashrate are safe. It's VERY unlikely that you should would ever find yourself mining for nothing. As long as you can see shares being accepted, we can count them and pay you accordingly.

I've just started to get heavily into MYR and really believe it has a good chance of doing quite well. I also mine RIC and am a mod over at riecointalk.org. Has their been discussion about having a dedicated forum? What are pros or cons about that?
