Whats the deal with Stablehash Groestl pool? Been mining for 24 hours and nothing to show for it. It was working fine for the past week

seems admin has problems, assured everything is working in background and will solve issue ... so your guess is as good as mine ...

Dam haven't had any payouts for quite some time. O well.

That pool is a joke. I found block for it just 5 minutes ago and still nothing confirmed/unconfirmed. I had to login like 10 times after seeing 'toxen expired' again and again. I was mining on that pool before 1day to check it. Efficiency was 1/5 of solo. Add to this admin couldnt make to show correct hashrates on dashboard page in week? Don't be surprised when the pool just disapear.

So... going back to solo.

What can I say - mined there for about 4 days in total till yesterday's night and everything was ok. Didn't tried to mine solo, but I think that with HD6770 it's not worth to mine solo... Anyway I was happy of quantity of coins I was getting - It's about 4000MYR in ~3.5 days. And miner wasn't run 24/7, just when PC was not in use...
Hope It will come back even more stable

solo mining is still a viable option right now. try following the instructions in the op if that doesn't help post back here we'll help also I'm thinking of writing a mining how to for myriad, I'm thinking newcomers will need it since the concept is new and some may not understand it.

Can anyone tell me please what are difficulties of each algo and if they match each other in terms of yelding? I think scrypt shouldnt be much behind this skein, groestl or qubit as they are all GPU mineable as well.. but dont know about this.

But to be able to use it for its max potential, I would have to know how is performing 1 mhs from scrypt at different algos?
Can anyone know any coeficients? Like 1 MHs scrypt = XX skein, YY quibit, ZZ groestl?
Because now I see difficulties on each algo, but I dont know yet how is GPU performing on each algo

and where I can find network hashrate for each algo? Only then I can accuratelly say which algo is most profitable atm...

I wish it was to an existing wallet but seems like nobody is using that account.
I am actually not so worried about the coin but it is just wasted. I wish it was to someone's wallet so that they can use it.
Now nobody can use it unless we can recover it.

I think a coin with an address check facility will also increase the robustness of that coin.
This maybe a good idea for any coin in terms of security. Why coins do not have this attribute?

If it is implemented, then sending a coin to a wrong address can be reduced by %99.
