XMY has been the name on cryptopia, and the TREX didn't change its name until yesterday. Many people don't know that XMY and MYR are the same coin, which is very interesting, which leads to the frequent occurrence of price difference.

They even didn't make any announcement for clients about the necessity to place orders once again. The orders just disappeared.  Decent exchanges shouldn't do such things, do you agree?

I'm sorry this happened to you, but I don't feel it's Bittrex's fault. They do state in their terms that orders are removed after 28 days, which is different from other exchanges. I know in this world nobody has time to read the fine print anymore, but it is your responsibility if you're trading to find out this info. Just take it as a lesson.

Thank you for this info, I didn't knew it also. But in this particular case, I think the truth is that Bittrex opened completely new market XMY-BTC as was written above, with blank orderbook. I suppose that because my order history in XMY-BTC is blank, but I actually had a lot of completed orders on MYR. So, it doesn't matter, was it old  MYR order (>28 days) or new one (<28 days) - it just left in closed MYR-BTC market and was not executed. This is, for sure, the fault of Bittrex.

I'm not sure where you got that news, but that can be interpreted in a variety of ways.

TL:DR Lots of new people helping, and those who have been around longer are ramping up activity.

It could be that:

team change = completely new people. Nope.
team change = old people + new people. Yes.
team change = old people 2.0 + new people. Yes 2.0

There are a lot of projects going on with the coin. Most of these can be found on the trello board https://trello.com/b/BCamm97g/myriad-roadmap

I have a fundamental problem with fine print, regardless of the entity/entities that utilizes this shameful scam. It is always the exceptionally exclusivist elitist scummy lawmakers and associated cronies that institute and organize these atrocities - the ones who sit behind the curtains and pull all the levers, the bloodsucking scumbags of society - at the detriment of society at large, of the ordinary citizen, the law-abiding do-gooders. It's exactly the same mentality as these quiet fast-talking gibberish you get at the end of some radio commercials too. In stead of providing adequate straight forward information so everyone who read the normal print, as it is supposed to be, the most important information that you need to make an informed decision is printed in fine, what an atrocious scam these bloodsucking "lawmakers" get away with, time and time again. Don't feel sorry, feel ashamed.

Wow, you know I don't work for Bittrex, right? You could argue that Bittrex didn't handle it perfectly. Fine. I'm not here to defend them. This is the Myriad page, not Bittrex. And Myriad is a community project that I joined just as anyone can. Although I had a positive experience with Bittrex's MYR to XMY switch. Let that be the end of it please. I have no reason to be ashamed so calm down.

Hello,  Smiley  thank you for your response on the Myriad thread on my post (shown above). Just wanted to say my post was not aimed at you personally even though it looked that way - it's aimed at an institutionalized corrupted mentality, blindly followed by the masses. Please accept my apology if I offended you, personally.

I read about the Community volunteers on page [1]

"8bitcoder - Wallet development and general contact"

Haven't been around since May 1st 2017.

There is plenty of space to develop Myriad to my opinion.

PM me devs if still any active...  Wink

Hello! Devs are still active, yes. Sometimes not here, but there those who are working on the coin who can answer any technical questions you may have. You can either post it here, on reddit, or even the synced chat pages. Even PM me if you like, and if I can't give a satisfactory answer, I can pose the question to those who can.

Is there another forum to find updates from devs, or is there anywhere to see the progress this coin has been making over the time of its existence?? Looking for specific links.

I think this is a good price to get in, seems to have a found a nice floor for now at least (knock on wood).

The best place is probably the subreddit at this point. Or PM 8bitcoder here. There's not a great historical record of what's been done now that you mention it, I guess besides the commits in the two GitHub repos.

I agree about the floor! Myriad has a Trello Board, where most of the current and future projects are recorded. Not an exhaustive list for various reasons but anything that is on the board, someone is working on.

Maybe try to run it in CLI mode, I've had some issues with the GUI in the past. Either that or use Electrum wallet.
