Interesting article in regards to Polo and potential manipulation...

https://coinidol.com/suspicion-of-insider-trading-at-poloniex/

Glad to see it. Let's see if we can bring a little law and order to crypto!

Thanks for posting.

@8bitcoder, It wouldn't be a bad idea to pop in once in a while, especially when it's important. Wink

Completely obvious they pumped these coins to sell there bags from fee's. I hope the get the SEC on to them to shut them down, Polo is as shit as yobit but with good volume

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I would definitely be an MYR buyer if the dev showed up and told what is being worked on.

"Dev" is 24/7 online, keeping up all his clones.
Not sure if Myriad "dev" created more account names at bitcointalk or cloned coins.....

Untrue FUD.

Already did, better do your own research.
I can give you a hint to begin with: Check the other known sockpuppets accounts of 8bitcoder, and the coins related to those accounts
For example: Quark, Zeta, Joulecoin etc..

FWIW you might want to ping 8bitcoder or nzsquirrell on reddit r/myriadcoin... You probably won't have much luck here. I don't think many from the myriad community come here often. I think the only time 8bit shows up is to update the thread title for a hardfork.

(enjoyed seeing your trade analysis by the way, even if it was probably manipulation)  Wink

Random guy says he did a deal with myriad.  What is your point here?

How about you post some hard facts which backup whatever claims your trying to prove?

1.  Articulate what you want people to know

2.  Post factual info that is clear and concise without emotional bias

A couple of years ago Bryce Weiner said some company hired him to do a talk about a Myriad airdrop in Brazil, which never happened. Before or since then, Bryce had nothing to do with Myriad.

Here is a good article where you can see for yourself about the fairness of altcoin mining schedules: https://web-beta.archive.org/web/20170112060242/http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins

As you can see, Myriad was fairly launched, and this is actually very rare. Less than 10% of altcoins are fairly launched. You can also confirm this yourself using a block explorer, of course.

Also note that the original dev, 8bitcoder, is still around after 3 years and posts regularly on /r/myriadcoin ...

Nice article MyriadAngel. Myriad got a very nice mention, especially considering how poorly most did. It's a shame the author didn't continue with the work. He was an ordinary investor basically sharing his research if I remember correctly. Shame it wasn't picked up on by the BCT community either - the original thread would have been the place to do it.  Wink  But, it's called lack of time. That's the problem we all have. A bit outdated, but very good nonetheless. Mandatory reading in my opinion. Ah, and here's the thread too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=587086.0

And nobody of the Myriad community ever asked:
Which company hired him?
Why did Bryce Weiner choose Myriad for the airdrop in Brazil?
Why the hell did Bryce Weiner talk about Myriad anyway since he is able to copy coins himself!
Short note: Bryce Weiner copy coins as an anonymous developer....and yes they are all (according to Bryce) "fairly launched"  Roll Eyes

Lol, you are either:
1. "8bitcoder" himself
2. Cooperates with him very closely.
3. Be one of his paid shills or,
4. Very naive

Never read such a dumb article! Are you serious...I just can't believe, if you aren't 1-3, that you read this article without being a little bit critical and ask questions yourself. Or do you believe everything what is published?

For a fair launch at least a windows wallet should be available. and already on the first page I notice that is missing..

Hm ok..let's check reddit...hm...his posting behavior at reddit has a lot of commonalities with somebody I have read before...who was it  Huh...ah I remember  Roll Eyes

There was a Windows wallet at launch, just not pre-launch as the poster wanted. Maybe try comprehending what you read next time and not just jump on a conspiracy theory.

Also many complaints about orphans, not working wallets etcetc..

But instead of discussing whether this coin is yes/no fairly launched (I don't care for a second),
Why not give more insight about your deal with Bryce Weiner and the airdrop of Myriad in Brazil a few years ago?
What is your connection with Bryce Weiner?

They want cheap coins as long as they can get so when they're done mining and buying them low as hell they can sell them back and manipulate them however they want, most of them...
