let me see if im not late buying for 45sat and wait if the price will go up, looking for the success of this project will see reaching 100 sat guys. hold and earn.
True, Myriad has lots of good things coming up....and is currently at a dead cheap price 45 sats.... I would say anything under 100 sats is a steal, with the amount of innovation going on lately Expecting a fomo soon
Nice to hear XMY is rising. I just noticed it. However, 100 sat is not possible. When will the new wallet be released? A promotion is appreciated.

It was already released. 0.11.3.1. Myriad will most likely complete hard-fork within the next 2 days.

When I tried last time, the latest update did not work. It's recommended not to use bootstraps anymore. Latest wallet should sync fast for you. If you need addnodes, look at http://myriad.nutty.one/home

Yeah, we need to spread the word out....And promotion articles on PR sites would be a great boost imho

I'm sticking with the v9 client simply because the new client is a resource hog & I won't be able to run it without sacrificing at least 2 other coin wallets, making it too uneconomical to mine.
If this fork happens I will be forced to stop using XMY - which is a shame.....

The fork is gonna happen. You can see block share here on third or fourth graph down: https://cryptap.us/myr/myrstat/and exchanges have already all updated. Just out of curiousity, how many daemons are you running and what type of server? I'm running myriad and two other daemons on a single core micro instance with 1 GB ram plus 2 GB of swap with no problem now (also running webserver and some couple node js servers for games). Myriad is certainly using more RAM than others, but for some reason CPU usage was worse on first time I ran it, after stopping and starting daemon again it was much better.

Im pretty bullish on Myriad coin, just got more at 50 sats And we just broke the 60 resistance, no reason to not go to above 100.... Charts are looking great lately.. We had over 1500 BTC volume on a day in the first week of July, where we broke 150 sats....Feeling all over again

Just out of curiousity, how many daemons are you running and what type of server? I'm running up to 13 full node daemons at any one time on a 64bit Linux server with 8GB RAM - so it's right on the limit. Some of the wallet daemons only use 100MB of memory (611, DVC & WLC) & ~1% CPU or less - compare that to the latest XMY client that uses 1100+MB of memory & ~5-21% CPU. SYS carries a whole interactive market place on it's blockchain, but that daemon only uses 210MB of memory & 1% CPU tops, while even the 2nd most resource hungry daemon which carries an interactive multiplayer game on it's blockchain (HUC) only uses 800MB of memory & less than 1% CPU - so it's insane that a daemon that doesn't carry anywhere near the features of other clients should use the most memory & CPU resources. I was always under the impression that updates were supposed to improve the performance & reduce system resource usage - this v11 update has done the complete opposite in every respect.

It seems to be somewhat related to the size of the unspent transaction output set. Newer clients (newer bitcoin codebase) offer this rpc call. If you check, you'll see that Myriad has an UTXO set that is close to Bitcoin's in size, and significantly larger than most/all other altcoins. I'd guess HUC is also very resource hungry for the same reason.

I'd guess HUC is also very resource hungry for the same reason. Maybe, I'm not sure tbh. I don't have a problem with HUC using up so much memory simply because it pays to mine it atm, whereas if I were to run the newer XMY client I would have to free up some resources by shutting down 1 or 2 more profitable daemons to do so - so it really doesn't make any economical sense to use or mine XMY anymore.

The fork is most likely happening today. We were back over 75% voting for v4 blocks last night, so if that's still the case a few more hours then yescrypt will activate and old clients will get kicked off the network.

The android app has a bug that is triggered at the first yescrypt block and it will not sync past block 1764002.
Working on a fix now...
