I expected 10x profit and now I'm officially at 10x loss. Biggest flop in my crypto investments. Without a doubt.
I remember that huge expectations in Feb/March, many of more experienced traders was writing about Myriad as a next Vertcoin, it was sure thing. Things turn out differently and after 4 months we have nearly a dead coin.
Our only hope for dumping coins with profit is in the next bitcoin bubble, some crazy altcoin pump like in November '13,  because right now we're going down, going down hard to 15-20 sat, and I'm afraid that we might be delisted from Mintpal in couple weeks.

At this time, the price of almost all coins have fallen very low, this is due to the data quiet season that's all. And remove trades Mint they is not never go for this coin.

Anyone investing in decentralized altcoins should be aware that the number one thing they can do to help their investment is contribute. I appreciate all people who step up and help out instead of complaining of their losses.

4) The more people mine = the more they dump on exchanges = SO EVERYBODY IS LOOSING MONEY .

2) sell once a week or once a month

What makes u think that those coin that miner keep can be sold on exchange next month ? Or even next week ? Too much risk to keep coin. Especially with Myriad. It can be gone anytime.

I wouldn't be too worried about it being delisted, at least not in the foreseeable future.



What I would be worried about though is the ASIC thrashing it's taking, and will continue to take.



BTW, is concentrated, centralized ASIC mining even compatible (to begin with) with the widely distributed network made up of average folks that is the core of the cryptocurrency ethic? In theory? (We know what is happening in practice . . .)

That's just an ugly picture of very short sighted, quarterly balance sheet focused entities raping the entire cryptocurrency foundation. It's a "scorched earth" mentality that will leave all ASIC vulnerable coins in the "waste bin of history".

So if I understand it right, it would be better if Sha/scrypt algo's diff would rise much faster compared to GPU/CPU algos. So it would fix the problem we have now. ASICs would get much less coins in the same period of time.
In other hand, if ASICs will leave (because of no profit),  what will happen to our blockchain? It would decrease quantity of miners drastically... But the price should rise and inflation effect should be much smaller...  

I think it's a very difficult subject to address. How would you balance a 20:1 diff ratio between the ASIC algos and the rest? What would that do to the blockchain? It might be much easier to lower the ASIC algos' block rewards to 1/20th that of the other algos (a 50 coin reward for SHA and Scrypt instead of 1000). That would certainly level the playing field!

I don't think that it would substantially affect the number of miners we have at present since the ASICs really haven't made that much of an inroad into MYR yet. Theoretically, at most, they only account for 40% of MYR hashrate, so even if they all left (which they won't since some are certainly mining for the long term) we'd still have 60% of the current hashrate, and that would most likely grow rapidly as more and more new MYR miners are attracted to an even fairer coin created for the masses. And don't forget, price would also go up accordingly!

if devs remove asic's algos just for a month u will see how the price will get higher than 500% of what is it right now

develompent i know u made this coin for more decentralized systmen but right now at least Scrypt asics are centralized to

few people , so y not removing atleast scrypt Algo temporary and set it back when the market filled with asic

i just wanna say that not myriad coin is getting lower price but every other altcoin too, and thats just becouse of those few
 
guys who are mining and dumping their coin by their  scrypt asics miners,if u really care about ur coin plz atleast remove

scrypt algo temporay and see what will happen to the price but if u dont care u can let the coin die as it doesnt have enough
