nice birdonwheels! will definitely keep hashing at birdspool For the benefit of script miners globally, I'd like to add a note to say that Bird's node is one of 4 nodes currently configured to do this. You can find details of all 4 nodes on http://myriad.p2pool.geek.nz/nodes. So in addition to Bird's node in Massachusetts, we have Auckland, NZ, San Francisco, USA and Milton Keynes, UK(my node). Only Bird's node has any miners on it right now, but even with just his miners we're seeing a steady flow of merged coins, which will all be used to donate to myriadplatform.org. If there are any European scrypt miners who have been holding back on trying p2pool because of latency to Bird's node, now would be an excellent time to try it out on my UK node. In the interest of raising as much as we can, I'll be keeping my node running with a 0% fee from now until the launch of PolyMYR. So you get to mine for free, and donate coins to myriadplatform.org.

ATM? Those would be nice, yes. Promotional video on Youtube? We might have one of these coming within the month in the form of a girl who runs a Youtube channel that we sponsored. She's hopefully going to use the wallet and showcase Myriadcoin on the video that is seen by a libertarian/open-source community.

I updated my block explorer with the richlist, and made it look a little prettier. You can find it at http://birdonwheels5.no-ip.org:3000. It's running off of Insight.

http://myriadplatform.org/merge-mining-day-1-update/We will be starting full merge-mining on the P2Pool networks within a couple of weeks. In the meantime, all merged coins mined are being sent to an exchange and converted to MYR, with all funds being donated to the Myriad Fund. We are currently merge-mining 4 Scrypt coins – LTS, PTC, TCO & U-LTC. Current balances mined: 1206.06146288 LTS 332.27200000 PTC 14187.56300000 TCO 39.50200000 ULTC Merge-Mining is active on the San Francisco, Massachusetts & UK Scrypt nodes. Point your Scrypt miners to any of them to help with this initiative!

Greetings, A new wallet for Myriadcoin, jswallet: http://cryptap.us/myr/jswalletA fork of RushWallet, this may work well for iOS devices. No hot wallets, this wallet is a random brainwallet stored as a url. Makes for easy disposable wallets. This is beta for now... Feedback is welcome. Regards, Edit: updated so that you no longer have to refresh the page for your balance to update (updated every 2min). Also, now you can view your brainwallet phrase and private key to archive in case any issue arises. If anyone has an "iProduct" and is willing to test the QR read functionality I would be very interested in your feedback. Regards, Edit: ticker price is now in USD / kMYR (USD / 1000 MYR for those scientifically challenged)...

Qubit merged mining would be awesome Yes indeed! Both Qubit and Groestl are fairly nice algos they should have got more success. Unfortunately Q2C is dead and GRS... I'd rather not comment on it. Qubit, groestl or groestl-myr all make more sense than X 1something so bad they had so limited success!

A minor milestone for Myriad mining: 500 million coins mined, about 25% of total supply.
