To the dev team: I do believe that we should add coin2 to CoinGecko.com, a site similar to coinmarketcap.com, once the problem is fixed. like that we will be adding more visibility and transparency . you can send them an email to hello@coingecko.com asking them for this hope this will be contribute of the coming back of coin2.

Gets, nice crypto- economy chart you got there. By the way, 3rd gen. Coin2 may see some excess inventories due to lost wallets. I have 4 windows8 based Hard drive been destroyed during renovation my office. Just realize yesterday. Total inventories about 1.15m of Coin2. Hope I would be able to recover at least some but SSHD is based on chips not disk, the ,Disk Doctor,' people told me chance is slim. Only hope is the desktop box use it as staking may be save. If anyone able to help out, I will share half of those 1.15 mil coins.

Its a little too early for promotions don't you think? The last thing we want is a backlash of promoting and no means of purchasing the coin... not to mention no game (right now). Please act responsibly and don't start promoting it right now. Promotion is all about the timing. Everyone Get Ready for The First Person Shooter Beta Coming Soon!
My Good friend Norma is Pumped and Ready! Please Share On All Social Media

I'm promoting this full speed! Dude.... I understand your enthusiasm, but advertisements work by creating interest or awareness and possibly leading to the sale of the intended product/services. Right now the coin cannot be bought on any exchanges and you are losing the precious eyeballs that will not come back. Its like GM advertising a car that is currently being recalled. The only awareness they would be getting is more people being aware of the flaw in the car and potential buyers striking that car off their "to buy" shortlist. Advertise when the coin is fixed and available. Advertising this right now is counter productive because you are advertising a broken product.

We need to get the word out there. the coin will be back shortly. companies promote movies, games and everything months before release. just because you cant buy the coin or play the game. Hey, Guardians of The Galaxy is coming out in august. lets not promote that disney because its over 2 months away. Inga is Excited too!

Hope the wallet.DAT of all the collected Cryptocoins still in good shape. Am I correct that's the only thing I need for the coins right? Question is, since there are doz of wallet.DAT from altcoins, what's the best way to identify it belong to? Input wanted.

Open the wallet.dat with an editor. At the end of the file is a list of all your addresses. Do you have some backups of your wallet.dat files for these coins ? If you have them, you just have to install the wallets on an other computer or new HD, then replace the original wallet.dat files with your wallet.dat backup files and run the wallets again. Don't forget that your coins are stored in the blockchain and not in your wallet. Basically, the wallet is only a software allowing users to access or to move their coins and the wallet.dat files are storing your coin addresses and private keys.

Not true. The blockchain doesn't store your private keys, your wallet.dat does. You need the privkeys to retrieve funds.

Well there are no coins at all. Only unspent outputs of variable size encumbered by a set of conditions specified in a script. Still your abstraction is closer to reality.
