I think maybe next time, dont have any preannouncement with time/date of the next major development.
Just announce it on this thread, this way people wont expect price to jump 10 times in 2 minutes and get impatient and sell if it doesnt.
Buy the rumor sell the news will always be true.
Either way the piggy team is doing an awesome job...

Millions are being sold in the markets I think the buy the rumor sell the news guys are going to have to buy back at a much more expensive price, if all goes to plan.

Have to say I'm concerned about a couple of things with this change:
- Three months to mine the first 200 million coins, and one week to mine the last 250 million coins. That seems very unfair to those who mined, or bought, the first 250 million (even if ultimately the total supply is reduced). Why so many in such a short time period? - How will you prevent a frenzy that results in many more blocks mined in the first few hours than required, like we see in so many launches these days? - The 1.4 code seems to stop at 271 million, not 250 million, coins (although 15.75 million of those are to be destroyed?)

How is the bounty page on your site coming piggy DEV?
I thought about it and decided we shouldn't do it. It's really hard to define a static bountie for a type of project since even between the same type of project people usually have completely different ideas of what they are gonna do. So we need to treat each idea for piggy as a singular case. Example: two different people talked to me about doing a gane for piggycoin. I heard their ideas and one of them was really bad when the other was awesome and it probably would take more time to code. I needed to treat this two as a singular case and talk to the guys that proposed it separately without having a pre defined bounty to give them. EDIT: check this out! the first page of a comic book about piggy that will be sold in indian schools by this guys based on this scryptEDIT 2: NEWS - Piggycoin PoS will also be packing Dark Gravity Wave (DGW).

I'm thinking about starting a new topic for Piggycoin PoS. We will change ticker to PIGGY and I have already talked to poloniex and they will be adding PIGGY as soon as it launches The multipool will also be there from the start as we stated before.

I thought about it but figured it might seem a little confuse in the piggybank "5 OINK". Nevertheless if you guys want it we can change! I'm gonna ask twitter about it too!

Hi Devs! You are doing a GREAT job, so thank you! Would you mind addressing the issues raised above? I'm curious too (although I'm not sure of the accuracy of that info). Also, I think PIGGY is better than OINK. It's more consistent. Have a good day!

Have a good day! -That's how the PoS/PoW hybrids have been doing it, we also need to raise the block rewards to raise the number of miners. -The first blocks will have a null/reduced block rewards. -This was my bad and I did the math to correct it in the other blockchain I'm coding. The total number of coins will be 500M in the end. EDIT: twitter wants OINK, you guys here want PIGGY. I will put a vote if this keeps undecided.

I suggest you have a look at Pandacoin (PND). They had a very long POW period (compared to most POW/POS coins) which apparently makes for a more fair distribution before switching to POS. Not sure if it will help but it's worth being aware of.
