That sounds great, will list them on the OP once they update their website showing zeit in their altcoin list, as of the moment does not show up yet.

No, it looks like you can VOTE on Zeit but it's not currently accepted... at least that what their website says, the only place I found mention of Zeit was on the voting page... and you can buy votes... no thanks.

Any faith I had in Cryptsy has been restored. Perhaps I was a little harsh with them.

If history is any indication, your newly restored faith is likely to be short lived. ...and I don't think you were nearly harsh enough. Cryptsy's service has always been very...lackluster.

And that did not take long,   Tongue

Zeit Syncing Tips for PoS

Keep your Wallet Locked when you are not Synced with the network if you have coins in your wallet.

The Blue Check mark will appear a few minutes before synced , but may not be completely synced yet,
Move the mouse over the Blue Check mark , and it will show
Last Received Block was Generated (Time) ago.
When it says 1 minute or less , then it is a good time to unlock the wallet and let it stake.
If it says 5 minutes and you check it again a few minutes later and says 15 minutes, then close and restart your wallet, and it will sync quickly.

If you don't keep the wallet locked until synced, it will still try to generate stake , but since you are not fully synced , they will all be orphans. Or in some cases can actually try to fork, when this happens your wallet will freeze up at the block number where it tried to fork and not receive any more blocks, until you restart your wallet so it can get back on the correct chain.

Anyone unclear or need more details post.

 Cool

FYI:
If your ISP has issues, it can cause you to fall out of sync with the current block # and a restart of the wallet may be required.

Other POS coins are issuing similar advice. I wonder whether Internet Service Providers are now clamping down more on extended download use, such as wallet syncing, by switching the service off every now and then. I have mentioned this possibility before. I've been recently experiencing intermittent service problems with TalkTalk.

Zeit Syncing Tips for PoS

Keep your Wallet Locked when you are not Synced with the network if you have coins in your wallet.

The Green Check mark will appear a few minutes before synced , but may not be completely synced yet,
Move the mouse over the Green Check mark , and it will show
Last Received Block was Generated (Time) ago.
When it says 1 minute or less , then it is a good time to unlock the wallet and let it stake.
If it says 5 minutes and you check it again a few minutes later and says 15 minutes, then close and restart your wallet, and it will sync quickly.

...

FYI:
If your ISP has issues, it can cause you to fall out of sync with the current block # and a restart of the wallet may be required.

Great advice. Don't just go by the jolly green tick (some call it a check mark). It will still show a glowing green if your Internet service has been interrupted and you could be well-behind. Always check that your wallet is actually up-to-date before opening your wallet for staking by hovering your mouse over the green tick.

Over two days waiting for a craptsy withdrawal again. Useless support ticket filed...again. Awaiting my automated apology...followed by an explanation consisting of "cryptos is hard!". Somehow every other exchange manages to keep wallets online and issue withdrawals in a timely fashion, but these guys just can't seem to get the hang of it.

At this point I'd prefer it if craptsy would just cut ZeitCoin loose. They're obviously overburdened and/or incompetent.

Totally understandable how you feel, it is beyond ridiculous.
Only problem is being on cryptsy is a requirement of some other services like coinpayments.net  .

Used to trade mostly on comkort, will still trade some on cryptsy and remove my coins at every small window where they are operational, but cryptopia is where most of my zeit trading will be from now on.
They have been excellent.
Cryptsy big problem, they got only 1 guy that seems to be able to get anything running. The rest of support is just a please wait crowd.

I've received my automated support ticket apology as well as a notice that the ongoing incompetence issue has been elevated to the next tier of apologist that can't or won't do anything about craptsy having non-existent and/or incompetent tech support.

yay. ...rejoicing ensues.

They cost you 66% of one full staking cycle. Whatcha wanna bet they won't reimburse you for lost revenue. As long as people won't punish them by moving their crypto trades elsewhere they'll go right on being suck.

Daemon keeps getting in a bad state where it stops downloading new blocks. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue. Working on a work around to kick it automagically
